"This place is in a great location with lots to do around you. The room had everything we needed and the shower had great water pressure. We didn't hear the noise from the street at all. The receptionist was very friendly and check-in and check-out was a breeze."

"There are too many stairs and no elevator. Some rooms do not have AC. The hotel is on Galway Bay and the grounds are beautifully kept with walking trails to the rocky beach. It is about 7 miles from Galway which could be an issue for some without their own transportation. We would stay there again."

We stayed in first class hotels all over the country except for in the North because we have our own place. we can not say enough about Ashford Castle and the staff. From the minute you arrive until your parting goodbye, it was first class all the way. We will definitely be back again, please God, to stay for longer than our first trip."
