"Loved the pool and spa area. Did not love the street-facing ground floor rooms. Lights from cars entering the parking lot all night would shine into our eyes while on the patio or straight into our room. Blackout curtains helped, but there are always cracks around the edges. Not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of. Highly recommend springing for a marina view room instead."

"Our bayfront room was beautiful and comfortable. The front desk was very kind and sent a complimentary bottle of wine to our room as we celebrated our 25th anniversary, having been married on the William D Evans in 2001. Apart from the low pressure and lag in hot water coming out of the shower, and the curtains not quite closing fully, we very much enjoyed our stay. The price was a tad high for a Sunday night at $460 incl fees, but the king size bed and thermostat made it an extremely comfortable over night stay. The proximity of the Bahia to both the bay and the ocean, is fabulous! We rented bikes and enjoyed a ride down the boardwalk. Thank you to the Bahia and staff for a lovely anniversary stay!"

"I loved the fact that there was a sink in the dorm. This small little difference mattered so much. The restroom was always clean, and the outdoor area has enough space to be alone or join a crowd. One of the better hostels I’ve stayed in for sure!"

"The property was clean and comfortable. Parking was very convenient and covered in the cost of the room. It's close to so many things on Point Loma. Easy to get around by car or Uber. My friends and I stayed for the Yacht Rock Festival at Liberty Station. I would stay there again."
