"I stay here frequently as itโs a great place for a staycation. The rooms are older but always clean. The service is amazing. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar and even the maintenance staff. They always have a smile to share and they seem to truly care and appreciate you as the guest. I will always check their availability when heading to The Dalles first. Special Thank you shout outs to the front desk for getting me green tea and to my friends in the saloon for the yummy recommendations and wonderful service, conversation and great laughs. I look forward to seeing you again soon."

"I enjoyed my one-night stay with my girlfriend at this iconic historic hotel. It was nice to feel like we were living back in the early 1900's. The staff was friendly and the room was nice for being so old. It has A/C but does not have a bathroom fan so it gets foggy and humid in the room. There was plenty of parking. The hotel is literally next to a waterfall so that makes for the most ideal scenery and setting for a couple's night."

"The place was nice, clean, quiet and had a restaurant/bar inside but DON'T eat there. Very expensive and food wasn't that good. So much more to say but don't have the time. The food was more than the room for two of us. Probably never stay there again for that reason. GET RID OF THE RESTAURANT/BAR. I FEEL $162 for two of us plus horrible food wasn't worth it with no mention of compensation!!"

"This was a sweet B&B with a lot of thoughtful touches. They have chickens, goats and cows that you can visit. My friend and I enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at the feeder. If you forget something, there are several thoughtful items in the bathroom. They have a coffee station and drug for guests to use as well as bottles of wine for purchase and use of wine glasses, yoga equipment, books, games, blankets. We truly enjoyed our hosts and our stay. Breakfast was wonderful as well!"
