"A very well appointed inn, scenically based on the edge of the haven, run by a charming family of four who could not be more friendly or helpful. The breakfast is superb and the evening menu varied. All meals are cooked to order and prepared to a high standard. In short, a splendid place to stay within reach of numerous local attractions. We intend to return."

"I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. "We had a very enjoyable stay. The breakfast & delivery was exceptional The house keeping of our room was excellent What I would recommend is a new mattress & bedding, this let down our comfort. The mattress creaked & you could feel springs every time you turned over. "

"We booked for B&B and paid in advance for it. However on arrival we were told breakfast was not included. A little annoyed, but did not dwell on it, the staff were very friendly and told us to make contact with Hotel.com. ( not so easy) Hotel was clean, nice room and a good shower. Lovely bar area. Good location for touring the area. Breakfast was cooked very nice, albeit different to what we would normally expect. Served like a restaurant, had to pay for each item. ( what we had was very nice) ...
