"This hotel is in a fantastic location. The hotel is under renovations so it was quite messy. The room was very nice. Beautifully appointed however, the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel and the pillows were very thin and hard. My ears hurt from them. I feel like if they are going to spend all this money to renovate they should allocate some of that money to make it more comfortable. I wouldn’t stay here again just because of the bed and the pillows."
"Pros: Location was convenient as we had an event right in the hotel conference centre. Close to the village.
Free on-site parking.
We received a voucher to use at their 2 onsite restaurants. But one was extremely busy and was understaffed the one time we tried to go there.
Received bracelet to access 2 activties at the Village: gondola and canopy climb.
Staff were nice.
Things to consider:
I booked on Expedia, and I was able to 'cancel' my whole booking but was not able to modify my booking later (because I wanted to cancel a day).
The hotel bus shuttle service was not available every day of our stay.
Took a long time for our sink and shower water to become warm.
Our bathroom did not have a fan.
The walls were thin and when our tv was off or low volume, we could hear our neighbours talking.
Our bathroom sink faucet handle was loose so didn't stay on the 'hot' side.
Our door did not have a soundproofing strip so we could hear other doors slamming shut.
There was stuff on the fridge door and bathroom door that I had to clean off.
Fridge is on the small side compared to other hotels I have stayed at."
"The staff is bar none the nicest and most accomodating in the business!
The property is beautiful, full of amenities, and resort(y). It immediately feels like home! I also like that it is quieter than being in right the village (at least during my annual visits).
The only cleanliness issue (if you could even call it that), was collected dust on fixtures in the room (bedside clock, hanging lamps). This was not overly problematic, but I do have dust allegies - a quick wipe on my part, and all was good to go! (I imagine it is especially hard to keep up as I find everything I own comes back from Blue Mountain Village and surrounding area a bit dustier lol). Everything else was VERY clean!
Some wear and tear to carpets and towels, but again - I'm just offering an honest review - I did not find if off-putting or bothersome."
