"This hotel is worth 2.5 stars at most. Our generous evaluation is 4/10. 1- Reception desk did not have my reservation already paid with Hotels.com. They had to take picture (with their phone) of files in my phone. They had rooms available so they asked that I pay upfront. I insisted that they check with whomever responsible. A few hours later things were settled. 2- They did not know that my reservation was for 3 days so each day the room key was deactivated, I cannot get into my room and had to...

"Un accueil parfait et souriant, notre bus est arrivé très très en avance et malgré cela nous avons été accueilli comme des rois avec le petit déjeuner offert ainsi qu’un thé pour nous réchauffer. "My husband and I had an amazing stay! We were celebrating our anniversary and truly appreciated the level of thought and care the staff displayed to help us celebrate. Not only did the staff place roses on the bed and shaped towels into swans, when we left on our first excursion and came back, we were surprised with a lovely cake in our room. Additionally, the surrounding mountain area of this hotel is beautiful and makes swimming in the infinity-like pool and eating the complementary breakfast all the more enjoyable. The staff were amiable, hospitable, and helpful, and I particularly appreciated their prompt replies on Expedia when I had any questions prior to arriving. We highly recommend staying at Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat!"
