"This is an old hotel and unfortunately it shows. Futons are thin and really old so the bed was really hard even though we had five of them piled up. Ventilation doesn't probably work correctly or it is unsufficient - we had to keep our window open and onsen roof was wet and molded. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. There is not many restaurant options in the area (many restaurants were closed). Good parking facilities."

"Having a stay in this resort is impressive! The room is spacious and clean. The view from the room is great! The room even equipped with a onsen bath inside the room. The onsen facilities are great! The dinner and the breakfast are super good, and the night ramen is nice. The staff are helpful and nice. I will revisit it in the future for sure!"

"Really nice spa and buffet! This is a large hotel that pays attention to detail. The staff are excellent and friendly, multiple languages spoken wit hi in the hotel staff. The spa is very impressive, and worth the price of the hotel. Buffet food is excellent in taste and quality, very hard to do on such a large scale, but Tsuruga at Akan does it splendidly. I had a very wonderful experience from check in to check out. "
