"The staff are wonderful. I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

"Amazing domain, really good spa with best hamam I ever did. Rooms are nice, bathroom is a kind of wet room so we where afraid to splash water everywhere, but walls looked coated in water tight layer. Breakfast was tasty with all kind off local produce. Not the biggest selection, but more than enough for a good filling breakfast. Only remark would be that due to off season nobody was on the property. "My criteria for choosing this hotel was air con( been to Loire in August before and needed it) pool ( ideal to cool off and have a relaxing day) plus parking. The hotel had all three plus a central village location with a good range of places to eat and drink. The hotel was lovely, staff friendly and generally well maintained. Breakfast plentiful, but repetitive. Plenty of beds by the pool and shade, which if you’ve holidayed in Spain is often differcukt to get unless you get up at6am. The only negative was that air on in our room was poor and didn’t cool much below 28C. It couldn’t cope with heatwave."

The breakfast was good and varied but the area was not kept clean and tidy during the breakfast hours. "Parking was easy as the hotel had sent a map - it was underground & free as I booked with Hotels.com. Reception was a lovely lady with excellent English. Our room was spacious and had air conditioning which was wonderful as it was 38c outside! It was very quiet. Breakfast was wonderful such a choice with fresh bread cheeses fruit eggs cereal croissants everything and it was constantly refreshed. Would definitely stay again as good distance from the port"

"I don't usually write reviews but Morgan was so helpful I had to write one. We arrived with 2 young children who had just had a long ferry and car journey and needed to move! She was so accomodating, patient and helpful with us all while she was giving us local recommendations and answered all our questions. She also provided us some milk for the children in the evening when we couldn't get any from the shop. Thank you! The breakfast was also very good."

"This is our go-to for travel in and out of Tours since it’s immediately adjacent to the TGV station. It’s always clean and the staff always pleasant. Everyone we have encountered also speaks pretty good English. This is not a fancy-pants hotel with luxe appointments, but always reliable. They have a parking lot and excellent little pates de fruits bonbons at the reception desk."
