"Ours was a booking 24 hours earlier and there was a communication problem between Expedia and the host. However, with texts and phone calls, Jodie was able to accommodate us in an apartment, which was spacious and tidy. The helpful local contact person came over with additional towels and info. Written instructions and other information were available (except for the TV--we could not locate access to local live stations). The location (in the middle of historic Elmira) provided easy access to Elora and St. Jacob's. The Inn is in a historic house (with various uses since 1872), updated with bathrooms and amenities for a good overnight stay. Some rooms, including ours, are up one flight of stairs. Parking available on the premises. Shared areas and amenities seemed pleasant and adequately clean and accessible. This was a good value for stays in autumn in this area."

"Lovely character inn, liked the feel of the place. The restaurant had a solarium area which was nice for breakfast in the morning. I appreciated that a full breakfast is included. The bed was comfortable, the room was nicely furnished, and the bathroom was clean and decently done."

"A great location on the outskirts of Elora which made it easy to find. Great young man on the front desk was very informative and helpful. The room was extremely clean, large and bright. We were on the second floor and had a large window facing west. Parking was easy in the back lot where the man on the counter had recommended we park at the far end in order to access the entryway there. The stairs were easy to use even though we are seniors. The area felt very safe."
