"Our Johnston Canyon bungalow exceeded every expectation! Triple filtered water to drink, well-appointed room, on site gourmet restaurant and general store with the best-tasting soft serve ice cream, located ON Johnston Canyon. We could’ve spent the entire week in that one locale, but we also took the Hop On Hop Off tour and other day trips, with Johnston Canyon being a perfect central location to return to each evening. The staff were super friendly and the bed was big and comfy! There was even a clawfoot tub, toiletries, and a blow dryer. It was a perfect place to enjoy the magnificent Banff National Park."

"We arrived at the very end of June and there was still plenty of snow to play in! Such a unique experience in the middle of summer. There’s no AC in the rooms, which I didn’t realize and it was pretty warm at night. Just something to note. It’s a beautiful, quiet spot and the staff are all really friendly. If you need a break from the summer heat, for sure check it out!"

"The meals were very tasty and the community tables enjoyable. We met many nice people with interesting stories and good tips on hikes at our table, which changed up during our 3 day stay as guests came and went. It was fun running into table mates here and there. The Thursday talk in the living room, by a very funny and knowlegeable guy on local birds, was a treat. Interesting cocktails at the little bar and tasty snacks to go with it. Not having WiFi exept at "the shed' was just fine! The lake and mountains are of course spectacular. The mosquitoes on the hike to the falls were equally spectacular....bring repellant!"
