Not due to the nice lady trying but i never got in my room and i didn't stay there. The property looks run down and nothing like the pictures on the internet. The office was nice and clean but the environment was scary.

No hot water. No iron (staff said they didn’t have any cause they get stolen) low income people living at facility. Dog feces everywhere. Phone did not work in room. Rented 3 nights. Not from area. Pictures online are not what facility looks like. Online was ver deceiving. After 1 night I left motel and went somewhere else.

The lady at the front desk, Dee, was amazing. However, everything else awful. We got there after 4 but couldn't check in until almost 6 because the housekeeper was hanging out instead of doing her job. Then my husband got locked out of our room when he went out to smoke and couldn't get back in for hours because the office door was locked and no one would answer oh and there was one sheet and mattress protector on the bed and when we asked for another one the housekeeper was extremely rude.

Porcha and Desmond are amazing people. Any concern I had was handled immediately. Desmond helped me get my bags from the outside of the building inside and he did not have to but he did. Porcha assisted me with cleaning supplies and was so nice and pleasant. I don’t like roaches so that was a huge problem for me. My boyfriend didn’t mind at all. I would only come back if Porcha and Desmond are managing the property. Other than the disrespectful roaches I would definitely come back. Just bring raid and some sticky traps and you will be fine.

I checked in to this hotel and had an issue pest control. I left for work and when I returned they had sprayed for pest. It just made the roaches angry. They were everywhere. Consider yourself warned. I have to throw away all my food and several reusable bags. I didn't even bring my luggage inside.

Disappointed in the entire stay. If the upkeep of the hotel was better. Cracked windows, duck tape holding things together. Roaches in our room. We booked for two nights and decided not to stay for the second night. Asked hotel. Com on how to get a refund for the second night. Was told I had to talk to the front desk. Their owners policy is no refunds. Will never book a room third party or stay at Red Roof Inn

Poor service did not honor a reservation
Arrived in the lobby, identified myself and the desk attendant immediately informed that they did not have an accessible room or one with 2 beds on the first floor. Preceded to tell us that she could give us a King bed. I asked how that would work for 3 people, she shrugged. My father asked if they had a bed or couch they could put in the room and she "I have nothing for you" I asked why we were not notified since the room was available when we booked it and she said someone paid to stay over. Again I asked why we were not notified and she shrugged. I told her I was not going to pay for somewhere that wasn't going to fulfill our reservation. She said that was between me and "my 3rd party booking". When I tried to cancel or alter the booking it only offered me to contact the property. So when I went on the Hotels.com app the only choice was to call the property. I told her that and she said could not do anything with changing the reservation but if they contacted them they would tell them no fee was due. Told her I wanted to make sure I would not charged since I would have to book another room so that my parents could be at their 8am appointment. She said contact Expedia????? So I opened the app and pressed the "Contact on the property button" and sat in the lobby as she answered the phone "Red Roof Inn Temple". To which I responded: "Yep, still me and I need to cancel my reservation." Her response was to half laugh and look around the counter "Oh, Hahaha"

Desmond greeted me with a smile and cheerful attitude. When the smoke alarm started shrieking shortly after I got in my room (I don't smoke) Bonita was quick to get a maintenance man to my room to change the battery. On the negative side, the refrigerator not only wasn't very cool, but there was a live baby cockroach inside. I also found an adult roach in the bathroom which I quickly dispatched. Also, the exterior light between my room and 114 was out. Oddly, the TV was on when I entered the room and the tub was wet. The A/C was off, but it didn't take long to cool off.

Please do not stay in this property it's unsafe durty and if U make a reservation and ask for something special good luck if u get it like me I requested a non smoking room when i opened the door i couldn't breathe, i opened nd closed right away, you wanted to safe some headaches stay away from this place, and trust me when i said it's unsafe and unsure

Last minute Unplanned stay and booked the cheapest. (I knew not to expect much). Arrival: gentleman was very nice, walking to room was sketchy, trash bags and trash all over breezeways I wanted to turnaround but it was late and I needed to get over to hospital(down the street). Walked in room noticed the super flat bed, two super thin towels, no shower amenities, no blanket only sheets. Tv frame broken. Window had a whole repaired with silicone. Asked about getting more towels the second day I was told I had to bring my old ones down. The next day I asked about towels again was told that the washer machine was broken and they were still washing loads. So I had to leave hotel to the nearest store to purchase towels.
