"Took a long weekend exploring Temiskaming Shores and decided on this waterfront motel in Haileybury, which is right in the middle and on Lake Temiskaming. A picturesque little town; the services are all in New Liskeard to the north, but only a scenic ten-minute drive up the shore. While the rooms are small, they have been renovated and have what you need in them. The big bonus was the owners' takeaway Indian menu you could order, which was some of the best Indian food we've had in Northern Ontario (there's a lot more such food up here now). So if you stay here, plan to eat in. The breakfast options are also affordable and filling. There's a great view over the town's marina onto the lake. The town is quiet, and it was priced affordably. Would definitely recommend this motel. "
