Absolutely delightful.
Excellent service, fantastic breakfast, and a wide variety.
The front desk did all they could to provide a pleasant stay.
The hotel has been completely renovated lately, so all corridors, floors, rugs, mats, and walls are spotless.
Highly recommended.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This is a new Abratel on Yonah Hanavi as opposed to the one we stayed before on Geulah. (It appears that they are also updating that hotel as well). Regardless, the same friendly staff and welcoming presence was evident. Our room was lovely with a great view of the Mediterranean from our balcony. The breakfast was good, nothing fancy but with many options. Location is great. Only praise.

The hotel is very centrally located. One can walk to the old port or to Yafo easily. Carmel Market, Dizengoff Square, and Neve Tzedek are also nearby.
My two rooms in a corner unit on the third floor were spacious and clean. I loved the balcony with a partial view of the beach.
The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Delicious Middle Eastern items, lots of fruit, protein--everything one could want for breakfast.
Safe rooms on every floor and a climate-controlled shelter in the basement of the hotel added to my feelings of safety in these uncertain times.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Yuri.

The noise! I didn't hear any neighbors in the hotel, but the noise outside was infuriating. There is a hostel across the street whose disorganized trash heap I was forced to look at every day. At least three or four times that week a service came to haul the crap away--at 4 AM and at 5 AM in two cases. The trash was strewn on the sidewalk. Then at 7 AM another service came and a minor cleanup was completed.
Next to the hotel seems to be some kind of an eatery. Its staff would hang out outside, smoke, and talk very loudly--even later at night.
If you are a light sleeper, bring your noise canceling headphones or you won't get a good night's sleep.
