Best Western Frontier Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Clean"
Mt Whitney Motel
8/10 Good
"Although the room had older furniture, it was very clean and roomy. The check in staff was friendly and easy. Parking was available and close. The only drawbacks were the facts that no USB port was available for charging and they needed a floodlight in the area that connected the two story rooms to the front rooms. It was dark walking that area at night. I would stay there again."
Trails Motel
10/10 Excellent
"I got sidetracked and left a bag in the room. I was not two miles out of town when I re received a call from the owner re my bag. He went to the extra effort to pull the records to find my phone # in order to call me. That represents a person who cares. Thank you."
Stovepipe Wells Village Hotel - Inside The Park
8/10 Good
"Great place to stay in deathvalley, has a great pool to hang at during the hotest hours and night, and close to the Dunes!"
Historic Dow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is a historic place. Location is excellent with an adjacent restaurant, and lots of options in walk distance. Pool was lovely. Appreciated the AC, and also the extra blanket, as I felt chilly at night. Staff were accommodating."
Panamint Springs Resort
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a cabin room. Great view of the Panamint mountains and night sky. The Staff was very nice and helpful. We had lunch at the restaurant and it was also very good. The bartender was very helpful with tips on viewing the night sky! No WiFi or cell service on the camping / cabin rooms side of the road which we were told about well in advance of our stay. Didn’t need connections the solitude & beauty was worth it! Stayed one nite."
Lone Pine Budget Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Everyone was really friendly and I LOVED that they have an ice machine! My favorite taco truck is around the corner… what more could I ever want? I have a lot of friends who hike Mount Whitney this time of year… if you want some exposure, let me know. 😉"
