Clean, quiet, spacious room within easy walking distance to the center of Te Anau as well as to the lake. Convenient to have a kitchenette and the complimentary bottle of milk was a welcomed touch. Perfect base for our excursion into the Milford Sound / Fiordland area.

Good location to get everywhere in Te Anau, the guy at the reception was very nice, they give every guest a small bottle of milk and when he heard I’m vegan he brought me almond milk. The room is renovated and so clean ! Enjoyed my stay very much !

Lovely place to stay with plenty of space. The bathroom was very clean and seemed recently updated. There was a much-appreciated heater in the bathroom. The kitchenette was nice although we didn't need to use it. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we loved the heated blankets! Wifi was okay, clearly affected by how many people are on it. The hotel is a short 3-5 min walk from downtown and very close to the lake.

Huge studio with well equipped kitchenette. Nice garden with a great bbq area. An easy walk across the park to the main street in town with lots of restaurants and two supermarket options. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

Great welcoming at reception and friendly staff. Our unit was immaculate, spacious grounds so so close to the lakefront and dining and shopping areas. Only drawback was one interior bedroom without an exterior window....so got quite hot at night a fan would've been great. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

A perfect place to stay on our travels around the South Is. Clean, modern and very spacious room; clean and well-equipped cooking facility. Added bonus was free parking outside our door and location - easy walking distance to city center. Peaceful surroundings with nice lawn/gardens. The manager/host was very courteous and helpful. A little on the expensive side, but was worth it.

Very nice hotel, well equipped as an apartment with full kitchenette. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy access to dinning and shopping options. Only negative is that wifi needs significant improvement.

Mary was a real star - she was ever so helpful - thank you!! The location is great with a path through the park. Easy parking. The WiFi was very poor though - just weak signal - needs improving.

While this looks like a ho-hum motel from the outside, inside the rooms are very large and quite plush, and the setting is green and expansive. A very comfortable stay.

Great little place
Friendly reception who offered us lots of advice and tips which were much appreciated. Room was clean, comfortable and convenient walk into town. Room was big enough to spread out our luggage. Happy with 2 nights stay here.

We enjoyed our apartment in Te Anau. It had everything we needed (stove top, microwave, refrigerator, separate room for our children, a big back yard for our kids to run around in, and a motel washer/dryer). The front desk staff was also very welcoming and provided excellent advice for hikes along our drive to Milford Sound.

The proprietors were lovely, very pleasant and helpful. The unit was spacious, bright, comfortable and clean. It was very convenient to have laundry facilities, including a clothesline and detergent.

Great place to stay for many reasons. The area, walking distance to the lake and town. The motel also gas a nuce outdoor area. The rooms are very clean, with everything needed, with small fridge, microwave etc, and warm . The lady at reception was very welcoming and helpful. I would have liked to stay there longer and would highly recommended .
