"Beautiful gardens but no hummingbird feeders and variety of birds in April was limited. Obviously the hotel had tried to be more than it was with abandoned ziplines etc. I got the impression management was catering to one night stays for industrial sized groups to see quetzals. True, they succeed in that. Meanwhile other hotel birding trips were industrial too. Far better to get a ride to neighboring Batsu Gardens than use hotel birding tour."

"Hotel is just ok. Rooms dont have the amenities they offer. To have a fridge, they did a downgrade of the room. Restaurant not good. They confused the orders, 45 minutes wait for the wrong plate and very expensive. I cant recommend this place."

"We staying in the hand-built rustic wood cabin in the middle of blackberries [Mora] in the woods. You need a 4 wheel drive to get down the very steep access road. We left our compact rental car at a house up at the road [for a modest fee] and walked down 2km. The cabin is down a steep forest path. Didn't see evidence of wifi. It's simple and wild. Will not suit everyone, but we greatly enjoyed it. "

"The parking is 3 places only otherwise you are on the street, which is free. Kitchen is a communal space. No mini fridge in room. Very basic room, no air conditioning but didnt need it in the middle of March. Nice balcony and roof top patio. Maria at front desk made the place alot nicer than it is. Very, very nice and helpful. Breakfast is at a restuarant about 2 blocks away. "

"Location was perfect for spotting birds and doing short (10-30 minutes) drives to other good birding locations. We booked the room with balcony. The room was clean and the bed was good. Patrica is the lady that manages everything. She also cooked great meals for us. So please order the lunch and dinner also there. We are very happy and enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended!"
