Great Break by the Beach
Spacious apartment on the ground floor beside the pool. Pool was 28 degrees (very pleasant).Large lounge area with the couch & seating for relaxation on one side and large dining table and chairs on the other side. Well equipped kitchen. Spa bath. Easy parking in the basement with lift access up to your floor. Directly across the road from the beach with 2 beach access points in close proximity. Short walk to the Mount Shopping area/Restaurants/ Bars. Very comfortable.

Two Night Stay
We had a two nice stay after travelling around the East Coast of the North Island. Our one bedroom apartment had all the mod cons, clean and tidy. Safe underground parking and the apartment was handy to the beach and town.

All round amazing!
Amazing location, close walk to the main street, Mount Maunganui and right across the road from the beach. The apartment was big and really clean. We were really impressed and would definitely stay here again.

Short stay at the Mount for Business
Great location, right on the beach and a few hundred metres from the main strip/restaurants and shops etc. I stayed in a 1 bdrm apartment for 2 nights which was very spacious and well appointed. Staff were excellent . Would definitely come back

It was a great location. The apartment was well equipped with a full sized kitchen. The bathroom and bedroom were both very spacious. The living area opened onto an outdoor area with a BBQ and outdoor table and chairs.

Spacious well located property. Nice linen and towels. Warm. Could do with a container or 3 in the kitchen otherwise very well stocked. Extractor needs replacing or fixing- pretty ineffective. Great stay. Would stay again but not driveway side.

Clean, tidy apartment with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Super location, opposite the beach and easy walk into town. Only negative is that there are no recycling facilities. We ended up taking 2 bags of recycling home rather than tip it all into the bins in the carpark.

Thank you for staying at Belle Mer. As you are aware with recycling anything left dirty is a problem, also recycling is not collected every week and we don't want the smells floating up into the apartments.

Wonderful location just across the road from easy beach access. Booked a 1 bed apartment and got a 3-bed apartment with the other 2 bedrooms locked. 3 bed was spacious and modern, easily comfortable for 4-6 people. Clean and well-appointed, friendly staff, would stay again.

Wonderful view of the sea from apartment 2C which basked in the winter sun creating a lovely warm winter holiday atmosphere. Great to have the beach walk just over the road and the main shopping strip so close to walk also. Very quiet and comfortable this time of year.

Family winter trip
Family trip in the school holidays, Belle Mer is everything you need for a great break. Clean, amazing location and really helpful staff. Beds are great, has e teas like washing powder and dishwashing tabs that make it so easy. We slept with the windows open to listen to the sea, loved it here.

Great penthouse apartment with beach view
We had a great time here, but having read other reviews and looked at the photos we went for the penthouse to make sure we got the beach view we and quality of apartment we wanted. It looked like the apartment standards are quite varied from the photographs and even emailing the property didn’t help us work out which of the others we would be allocated. Although it was an expensive choice we weren’t disappointed. It has a large, light, open plan living space, with a full kitchen, dining table and 2 large sofas and the whole front is floor to ceiling windows opening onto a huge balcony looking over the beach. We booked it as a ‘one bed’ but it actually had 3 bedrooms. It is only 5 mins walk from great bars, restaurants and shops. There is secure parking underneath with a lift to the rooms which was very easy. We would definitely stay again.

We are self serviced apartments which are clearly advertised, we do not service rooms daily unless you request this at which an extra fee would be charged. The washer and dryer was locked as you had booked a beachfront 1 bedroom

It was a very nice, clean, well appointed, two bedroom apartment, directly across Marine Parade from an excellent swimming beach. Secure parking in the facility's garage. The shopping district, with good restaurants, was within easy walking distance. There was nothing about the place we didn't like, and we would recommend it to anyone staying in Mount Maunganui.

It was in a perfect location and very nicely updated. There was plenty of room and we could have stayed much longer if our time had permitted. We will definitely go back to this place.

Well equipped kitchen, good bathroom but cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. Ancient tv in master bedroom which only had 2 channels working. Asked manager about it but she couldn’t help get it sorted. TV remote held together with cellotape. Some tired furniture. Not up to it’s ”luxury” apartment claim.
