"This totally renovated hotel is a revived classic with modern improvents. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room invited light from the outside to make it shine. Sitting area, polished chrome fittings, comfortable chair and reading areas, one by a window. Outstanding room. Staff was mostly absent and electronic lock was glichty, otherwise a restful stay."

"Great hotel in front of Hedge falls, near Mt Shasta, Siskiyou lake and Castle lake. Go to Dunsmuir only to get your groceries at the supermarket and visit beautiful Mt Shasta town for shopping and coffee. We took a drive to nearby Ashland, Oregon, just 1 hour away, and were gratefully surprised at the great Lithia park, and many restaurants and shops of this little town. Please visit the Oregon Shakespeare theatre if you can."

We even commented as we stepped into the room that it was the first room rental on our whole trip that smelled great and had pleasant lighting 😂. We would stay here every road trip through California if we could. We had dinner at the Sage Restaurant down the road and that was so delicious and full of history and charm as well. "

"Overall, great place to stay. We came with family and hung out by the fire pit and played Jenga by the BBQ. rooms were spacious and clean. There is no front desk, which is fine, and they have a 800 number to call with questions and someone always answers. We weren't really accustomed to this and needed towels, but no none was at the hotel. we managed, so not that big of a deal. we will def stay here again next Shasta visit. "

"It is a small room, but it is clean and very quiet. Located in the heart of Shasta City, it is conveniently within walking distance to restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores. The room key is retrieved from a key box, so you don’t have to meet hotel staff, which provides good privacy. However, I needed a band-aid and a spoon, so I asked the woman at the front desk—who I believe is the owner—and she kindly brought them to me. She always greeted me with a smile, and I am truly grateful for her warm...
