"I was here for an 8-day ski trip, 6 nights in a Western-style room, and 1 night in a Japanese-style room. The hotel is very spacious and I really like the rustic/quaint atmosphere. I really liked that the western room had a couch. Made full use of the onsen and ski locker room in the basement. Free Kaiseki Breakfast was very convenient. "This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "
