"Food is disgusting. Not much variety. Food reused from previous meals. No restaurants to reserve on. Only one buffet. No ac so it is very uncomfortable to eat w heat and flies. Open atmosphere. No nightlife. A dj that refuses to put music asked for. Poor karaoke music had to download song on spot. Rooms old and poorly maintained. Walls need paint. Ac a plus works great. Front staff horrific. Long lines to check in and out. Towel lady bad humor. Also bartenders are all bad humored. Very pricey for the service received. No bell man. No food 24 hrs or late food. Dining not for vegetarians. No seafood what-so ever. A tilapia that was the only thing and it tasted frozen. The entertainment at pools where none. No games, exercise. Only in one pool full of kids screaming. Music very low and only 2 pools no bar pool you have to walk to get drinks to the bar. Very disappointed. Horrible. I would NOT recommended it to anyone. They must learn to take care of customers since it is their job to provide good customer care and hospitality. "

"El parqueo estaba cerca, la habitación si estaba bien limpiapero olía un poco a humedad lo que si estaba sucio era la piscina, no la pudimos utilizar porque tenia como una capa de grasa me imagino de los bloqueadores de sol de todas las personas que estaban ahípero si deberían limpiarla todos los días o utilizar algún producto paraque eso no pase porque se ve desagradable. El desayuno estaba muy rico y las personas que trabajan en el hotel tambien muy amables.El aire acondicionado si estaba funcionando muy bien."

"The views are absolutely breathtaking, easily the standout feature of the property. Whether you’re overlooking the ocean at sunset or walking through the grounds, the scenery is stunning. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with lush landscaping that really adds to the overall experience. Most of the staff around the hotel were warm, welcoming, and very helpful, which made navigating the property and enjoying the amenities easy. That said, the dining experience fell short. The restaurant staff were not as friendly, and the service felt subpar compared to the rest of the hotel. The menu lacked variety, and it felt like there were very limited options—almost like you were stuck eating the same meals repeatedly. Unfortunately, the food itself didn’t stand out either. Because the hotel is quite secluded, you don’t have many alternatives unless you’re willing to travel about 30 minutes into town, which can be inconvenient if you’re relying on the on-site dining. On a positive note, the private beach was a nice feature and a great place to relax and unwind. Overall, Villa Caletas offers incredible views and a beautiful, peaceful setting, but improvements to the restaurant experience and menu variety would make a big difference."
