So much to see on the peninsula and Mason’s Cottages is ideally situated for everything. Denise, the owner, was super helpful and gave us great tips on places to eat and things to see and do. Our accomodation had everything we needed and was nicely presented. We will definitely stay here again.

The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. The property is well managed and cared for. Our two bedroom unit was quiet, well- stocked and very clean. The property is close to Port Arthur and also convenient to leave for the airport in Hobart (only an hour away). We highly recommend staying there.

Justin was the friendliest, and they are open even on Xmas! Spacious cottage for 4 with hit showers. Place is very newly renovated, despite the cottage vibes. Knives are sharp, good laundry facilities. No complaints!

Holiday at home

Stayed here on a recommendation from a work colleague. Great little place to stay. Comfortable, clean, spacious, large comfortable bed, aircon, laundry to use plus all the other comforts necessary. Pleasant friendly owners who were only too happy to assist with any queries. Centrally located in Taranna with supermarket, cafes, restaurants within easy driving distance. Highly recommend.

The accommodation was great, we stayed in a two bedroom unit and there was heaps of room and the beds were the quality you would expect in a superior motel. A decent sized fridge and with kitchen facilities including a full sized oven it would be perfect for short or long term stays. A great place to relax and great for taking in the sights on the peninsula. Would recommend to anyone

Amazing, cosy, warm base to stay during our visit. Great bedrooms, kitchen was ready to roll and plenty of space for our family. Will certainly be back on our next trip to the peninsula.

Excellent stay, good spot for hiking & sightseeing

Denise was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The studio had really comfy bed; bathroom also had light/heater; kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils etc. A salad bowl would have been nice but I used one of the stainless steel bowls. The studios have been renovated with a few upgrades yet to take place. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper and most thoughtful was the small milk in the fridge. There was also a bottle of local pinot noir and Chardonnay that could be purchased. There was some street traffic noise but nothing significant. Denise also gave us advice on which roads to avoid when travelling further on our journey. The cottages don’t have huge street appeal but inside they felt very fresh and comfortable. We found the accommodation to be very good and would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend it. Highly recommended.
