"It's in a great location if you're looking for a quieter side of town, and very safe. Bakery across the road, bus to other beaches passes right by, and a nice restaurant - Pelikano - just down the block overlooking the river. The footbridge means you can be in the main swell of BC in minutes. I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller and completely recommend this place."

"There are some great things about this hotel, some mediocre things and some really bad things. The good: it’s well-updated in the rooms and the lobby. The rooms are basic and plain but you have everything you need. Everything was clean, the bathrooms were clean and updated. There are some great amenities such as the kids’ playroom, the game room, and the piano downstairs. The staff was helpful and kind. The bad: Elevators were a serious problem.
