Very "interesting" property. Situated in what seems like a forest, amazing views and the walk to the hot springs is incredible. The 3 pools are different temperatures, recommend the lower one near the trees - you can catch glow worms at night. Room was ok, bathrooms need A LOT of TLC. Very old and rustic, would not want to stay more than 2 nights

Beautiful and quaint with very friendly and helpful staff. Our fault we missed the check in time, but they were very nice about it. Unfortunately, the pools were closed for cleaning, but when they opened, they were amazing. Would go again for sure!

Central location in the Waikato, within an hour of Tauranga, Rotorua, Hamilton and Hobbiton. Hot pools are handy and a golf course across the road. Staff were friendly and courteous and the food and beverages top class.

This place has had a lot of love put into it over the last three years. The hot pools are refurbished and so lovely. The pub/restaurant casual and delicious. Great place to visit

An amazing find
Such an amazing find on our road trip, staff super friendly and helpful, room comfortable and an incredible hot spring pool that was quite unexpected. Food was very good

This was such a fantastic spot to stay for a few nights, the grounds are immaculate, the hot springs incredible, the buildings are full of charm and character. We could have easily spent longer here, and to top it off the food was amazing!

Ultimate get away hotel. Highly recommended.
Honestly some of the best accommodation I’ve stayed in. Great food. Great drinks. Amazing location. Golf. Hot springs access included with hotel stay. Lovely staff. Definitely will be back.

A hidden gem. Lovely heritage property with a great vibe and gorgeous walk to the hot pools. Friendly and helpful staff and great food. One observation is that some maintenance is needed. The road leading to our chalet had very deep potholes easily sorted with some metal, and in our chalet most of the windows at the bottom either had a broken catch so couldn’t be closed, and one window was broken in the corner leaving a hole, and clearly not new as there was no broken glass around. We just propped a towel against the break and pushed the other windows closed from the outside to stop the cold air coming in, but these seem easy fixes. Regardless we would stay again and would recommend to others.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was excellent. Hot pools were great and very relaxing. If I had more time a round of golf on the nice looking course would have been great. The rooms in the main building were small but comfortable & warm although my room did need a few items repaired All in all I would definitely return and book a Chalet room next time if my wife was with me.

amazing. room was spacious and quiet. the 300m to a shared hot spring pool was unique. love it the hotel itself is in the middle of nowhere, but it does also have an onsite restaurant with free breakfast

We loved the Okoroire Springs Hotel a very peaceful setting. The hot springs are a wonderful relaxing experience. Comfortable bed and everything was clean. Friendly staff who were working very hard as they were short staffed.

Reception was friendly and helpful. Nice room and well cleaned. Breakfast offered was disappointing. Cheap breads and cereals. No cooked options. I would of been happy to pay extra but no one to ask. Mai FM playing loudly and at times statically. The average customer in the room was 70 so not really appropriate music for guests. It didn’t open till 8am so guests were hungrily waiting at the door. In defense there was a sign requesting staff vacancies

The hotpool is the main attraction there but it should be developed. Food is great but the waiting for our order took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Free breakfast should have eggs. All is good.
