"We absolutely loved the Bambootel, it was absolutely beautiful, the service was outstanding and we would definitely stay again. Both the villas and the grounds are immaculate, the staff cannot do enough for you and we found the food at both breakfast and the restaurants really good. Theres plenty to keep you occupied with daily shuttles into Ubud, daily rice terrace walks, frequent yoga and a fully stocked gym."

"Everything was almost perfect there! Staff welcoming, gave suggestions of places to go, gave me a charger to use everyday because I was unaware of the outlet difference, cleaned room everyday! I came in to my flower bath ready and a beautifully made bed with happy birthday on it. I loved my private pool villa! Only thing I had an issue with was the WiFi not connecting, and my bed didn’t seem freshly cleaned. The pillows smelled like someone just left and nothing washed, one of the towels had makeup or something on it very visible. The views were amazing! They provided transportation and all! I would book again"

"Beautiful property. Rooms are large,well appointed and super clean. The grounds are perfectly maintained and stunning. There are no words for the elephant encounters. Washing,them,swimming with them,feeding them and having them come to your actual room for fruit are very special experiences. The staff are super helpful ,friendly and very knowledgeable .Dining is excellent . We’ll worth a visit and a stay at the lodge."

"Amazing spot. So peaceful. Villa pool a little fresh but nice on a hot day. Beds were comfortable and sheets were amazing. Staff very accommodating and more than willing to assist. "Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. If you are looking for something off the beaten track, with peace, tranquillity, and amazing Balinese hospitality, this is your place. I stayed in a villa with a private pool, which was very well appointed, full of light and sunshine, and overlooking the jungle trees and nature. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my every request. I even enjoyed a beautiful floating breakfast in my private pool, which made the experience feel extra special. The food was delicious, and the views of Mount Batur were absolutely stunning. I also used the spa for a Balinese massage, and it was pure bliss. It was so refreshing to enjoy such a serene atmosphere with no crowds of tourists, yet still be within easy reach of Ubud and Kintamani. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to be back again!"

"It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. The grounds are excellent, green and beautiful, with two parking lots, but they're small. The restaurant is tasty and fast. The specialty is the average portions. Breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice, plenty of space, and the toilets are decent. There were a few complaints about the bathroom. Cons: average soundproofing, creaky beds. Small insects are possible, but there are remedies for them. Perhaps the main issue is the very loud sound of cicadas, really loud and impossible to do anything about. They quiet down around midnight. There is a pool in the room, but the water is cold (for me)."
