The hotel location is very good for catching a ferry to Spain; it’s about less than 15 minutes walking to the port. The hotel is at the edge of the Medina, many restaurants are close by, its included breakfasts were also decent. Staffs were friendly, we appreciated the fruit tray we received on our first day. The two negative things that we did not like were the old bed, hard/tall pillows and some annoying flies in the room.

The Mamora Bay Hotel is exceptional. Excellent service, beautiful breakfast overlooking the water, clean rooms and great value. It is an amazing option if in Tanger.

We loved this hotel ! We came over on the ferry from Tarifa for just 2 days... we walked from the ferry to this hotel and the next day met our camel excursion a walk away too ! We ate a delicious dinner and breakfast in the restaurant seated in the corner table with a beautiful view of the harbor ! And... the staff were AMAZING ! Would absolutely recommend this hotel!!

The view from our room was really good and we were glad to have paid the extra for it and a bit more room. The breakfast was nice and we enjoyed trying the different local breads. It is next to the Mosque, so there is a call to prayer in the morning. This didn't bother us much and we were aware when we booked.

Great get away…

Stayed here for our 25th Anniversary. We booked the Royal Room and it was worth every extra penny. The view was fabulous overlooking the port. Hotel was clean, staff were awesome from bellboy to housekeeping. Location was prime in the Old Medina, we walked everywhere. Only caution I’ll advise for older or infirm patrons, is there are no lifts and the rooms are spread over the upper floors. Personally we had no issues 😊

I really enjoyed my stay at this property. It was very clean, quiet, and in a great location close to shops and transport. The bed was comfortable, and the check-in process was easy. The host was friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again.

We were greeted with Moroccan tea and a sweet while we checked in. Staff were friendly and helpful carried bags to our room and gave us advice on cost for taxis etc. The room was small but had everything we needed including fresh fruit. Breakfast was included and a great start to the day. Great location for exploring the Medina and corniche.

The stay was excellent. Check in was easy and the tea upon check in was an additional bonus. The room was tidy, the bathroom was tidy and soap was provided, but the real treat was breakfast! The service and the view were amazing for breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at Mamora Bay. The service was excellent. Our room was clean and spacious. We had a very good dinner in the restaurant. The location is perfect. It is right in the Medina but still very quiet. I highly recommend this hotel if you are in Tangier.

It’s a time capsule

This hotel is like, stepping back in time in the Arabic world of culture and art and beauty. The building itself and everything in it as a cultural artifact. The staff were absolutely superb in their customer service. Courtesy helpfulness, an overall presence.
