"My stay here was great as I was initially disappointed, the hotel I usually frequent was not available. This was my first time at this location and I was pleasantly surprised! The gym was clean and had useful equipment. The onsite restaurant and bar were very nice and accommodating not to mention the Starbucks! The staff were also very friendly. My room over looked the Bay and the huge wall to wall floor to ceiling windows made that view even better!"

"Hotel Review: Hampton Inn at Rocky Point, Tampa, Florida I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn at Rocky Point and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The staff truly made a difference; they were incredibly accommodating and helpful, making check-in a seamless process. Room Quality: Our room (312) was a highlight of our stay. It was very clean and well-appointed, providing a comfortable atmosphere to relax in. However, I did encounter a minor issue with the AC outlets in the room—they were quite loose, which made it difficult to maintain a consistent charge for our electronics. Breakfast: The breakfast offered was decent, although I found the scrambled eggs to be a bit runny for my taste. That said, I recognize some might prefer them that way. Location: One of the best aspects of this hotel is its location. The Bahama Breeze restaurant is just a five-minute walk away, making it convenient for dining out. In conclusion, aside from the minor outlet issue, my stay was enjoyable, and I would recommend the Hampton Inn at Rocky Point for anyone visiting Tampa"

"It is good hotel , room no good enough for the price ! Breakfast no so good i ether "

"Parking was easy and plentiful, but I would not say secure. Many of the vehicles there were run down, beat up, and possible not in running condition. I did not feel safe in the parking lot. The front desk area was old and beat up. Staff was nice enough, but I would not say "friendly". Walking down the outside hallway, we had to step around people sitting on the floor outside of their rooms smoking and some sleeping. Upon entering the room, there was a very bad smell, like a mixture of smoke and musty linens and drapes. I turned on the light and fan in the bathroom and it sounded like it was going to explode. The bathtub was filthy. The water in the sink barely ran. It was just a trickle with both hot and cold opened wide. The mattresses were awful. Our friends in another room noted similar issues. We went back to the front desk and immediately checked out."
