"We started our NZ vacation here after landing in Christchurch and it was the perfect start. The pub served wonderful appetizers and desserts. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the bay--great for settling in and relaxation. The pool was cooler than I hoped. Breakfast is self-serve with limited but thoughtful options. Sharing facilities wasn't a problem, but there weren't many other guests during our stay. Staff was warmly welcoming and very accommodating. "

"Fantastic stay. Fire alarm went off early and a neighbour banged on our door like a nutter and accused us of setting the alarm off. We were all asleep at the time. Firemen told us somebody burnt their toast in a building next door. "

"Great Hotel Right in the heart of Christchurch! The rooms are very modern and have everything you need. In addition to that, the rooms also have blinds, which really helps you to get a good night’s sleep. If you are an IHG member (free reward programme), you are eligible for a complimentary 2 p.m. late check-out, which was great as our flight was at 8 p.m., so we could stay in the hotel a bit longer. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"The room was clean and tidy. Tea and coffee was well stacked. Amenities were just perfect. I would definitely stay there again. Check in was a bit strange as it was through intercom where we given our passcode which was new to us but fun (watching so many Korean dramas and seeing their door locks with passcodes and finally getting to use one was awesome lol)."
