The management team was fantastic! The hospitality was outstanding. The cabin was so clean that we felt like it was brand new! Had a blast- You do feel the wilderness ;) In the woods, nice snow clearing job- Simply WoW! Outstanding

Best cabins in Talkeetna. We had the best view. It was a romantic getaway for us. Very comfortable. Spent our anniversary night here and had beautiful views. We will definitely come back here and highly recommend this property. It was magical with the snow. We will try to spend more time here in future.

Remote, quiet, secluded and off the beaten path this is a gem for anyone who’s looking to be alone free from crowds or people. The small town of Talkeetna is15 minutes away and there is a grocery store and a convenience store 5 minutes away.

Beautiful new cabin in the Alaska wilderness
The cabin was new, well kept, and the property is in a secluded location. The perfect “get away”. There’s even a hiking trail down to a creek.

We really liked the cabin the problem was all we had was a small space heater and when we woke up it was 44 degrees outside and maybe 60 in the cabin. Both of us have gotten sick. We loved the trails through the woods and would have liked to have a campfire not sure what the rules for that were. It would be nice if all the cabins had a window view into the woods like some cabins did farther back did to see wildlife.

Loved this place. Very clean and comfortable. Even the table where we ate had a ledge for our feet with holes in it. This allowed the heat to come up to our feet. Great attention to all the details! Lovely!!

We loved staying here! We stopped in for one night with my family of 5, and it was our favorite place of the trip. It’s a cute, cozy cabin off the beaten path. It is well maintained, they communicated great prior to my arrival. It was such a fun place. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn’t get to explore the property, but it was beautiful around the area.

Nice cabin to stay; quiet, close to nature; nice host-they put a welcome board at the front door of your cabin…love the flower plants in front of the cabin—with colored marble named …and, it is spotless clean; we feel great that we brought our own slippers so that we didn’t walk in with boots

Don’t look any further…perfect experience
We stayed one night on our way back from Denali. I wish we had planned in more time at this exceptional location. The cabins are equipped with everything you can wish for, you name it it’s there. We bought steaks and sausages at the nearby supermarket and prepared our own BBQ at the main cabin. There was a campfire at night where we gathered with the owners and other guests, very cozy and interesting conversations. There are hiking trails to explore from the cabins directly and more things to explore in Talkeetna. I wish we would have planned more time to explore and enjoy this hidden gem. So much love and care is put into this lodge, untouched nature, what a great experience. Thanks for your kind hospitality, hope to be able to visit again some day.

We had an excellent stay! Cabin was clean, cozy and perfect for two people! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They put a welcome sign outside of your cabin door with your name on it. It’s the little touches like hot chocolate packets that made us feel more at home! Looking forward to staying with them again!

This was my favorite property we stayed out throughout our Alaskan adventure. VERY peaceful and gorgeous property. A screened-in entry porch was wonderful because mosquitoes in Alaska are aggressive. The kitchen was new and stocked with a beautiful full window that looked out into a private forest. The bedroom was huge so it was nice to spread things out and get re-organized while being busy traveling. The cabins are so new they still smell like fresh cut wood. Communication was prompt and kind and welcoming! The property itself was private and welcoming, with great community spaces, even some walking trails. 10/10 will be back next time i am ANYWHERE near this spot!!!

Nice cabins in a wilderness setting
The cabins were newly renovated so in good condition, and had all amenities (kitchen items, heater, comfortable beds/blankets). The enclosed patios were very nice. The property (~8 cabins) is well away from other properties in the area in a fairly "wild" area and has walking trails to a creek. The owner was helpful and communication very good with a flexible check-in time. The cabins are relatively close to each other so don't expect you are secluded in the woods, but still provides a much better experience than a hotel room. The cost is very good for being in a stand-alone cabin compared to other cabins or hotels.

The cabin was in the middle of wilderness, but we had all the basic amenities of a small apartment in the cabin. The room was clean, has updated feel, a small kitchenette with essentials and they get brownie points for labeling different things. I got a message on the day of my stay with travel and check-in instructions and it was a breeze. The cabin is located in the middle of wilderness and it was peak summer so we had lots of mosquitoes outside, but none inside when we got in. After that we were on our own against them, but we were quick to move our things in and the screened door sitting area helped serve as a buffer. They have lot of Kirkland products, which was a plus in my opinion that they get my respect for as a loyal Costco member myself. Highly recommend! Do check out the Birch syrup place right off the main road for local products.

Thanks for your review. We send welcome messages to all guests and offer a common area in our Lodge for guests to interact with our hosts and staff as well as other guests. We respect our guests privacy and understand when they decide not to join us in the common areas or at the pavilion or fire pit. All of our cabins have utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, coffee mugs, fridges, microwaves, a kitchen sink, dish soap, cleaning clothes, paper towels, coffee, creamer, tea, hot chocolate, tea and apple cider. In the Lodge we have a full kitchen with oil, vinegars, condiments, spices, and all the items needed to prepare and enjoy a meal if our guests choose to use them. We encourage our guests to ask what we can do to make their stay more enjoyable and pride ourselves on effectively responding to questions or requests. The mosquitos in mid June can be challenging. All of our cabins have screen porches, screens on the windows and we provide bug spray upon request. Visiting Alaska is a wilderness experience and we're fortunate to have unspoiled and wild places for visitors to enjoy. Sometimes this comes with some inconveniences including bugs and weather but these things enhance our natural environment. Mosquitos are an inconvenience but an essential part of the food chain for ecology. June offers visitors a chance to experience long days and lush vibrant forests. If you prefer less or no bugs, stars and a chance to see the northern lights then I recommend to visit us in late August or September.

Clean, new cabins!
We absolutely loved these cabins. These cabins are basically brand new. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, and the blackout curtains were definitely appreciated :) Todd was super easy to work with. Bonus was we ended up getting an excursion discount on our Denali flyover experience by staying here, so definitely ask about that! 10/10 recommend!
