"My husband and I had an absolutu fantastic stay here for 3 nights - it's the perfect base to explore the island while being located close to Ishigaki centre for great food options and amenities. The swimming pool was a fantastic length to do laps in, and the buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of western and Asian options. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view over the ocean. "Quaint little property where you can pet rabbits, an owl, and a parrot. The rooms are large and the staff are courteous and helpful. Laundry facilities on property, 300 yen to wash and 30 minutes of drying time is 100yen. They also provide free laundry soap. There are so places within walking distance, but I would recommend getting a rental car to see more of the island. The staff can help you with finding things to go see and do. "
"Have been in Ishigaki for 6 times, Miyahira Hotel did surprise me on the location, amenities and room condition. I stayed at the new building with balcony, which works perfectly well for divers - to dry our gear. Location is quiet and just stone throw to bus terminals for airport transfer.
Breakfast is the top in town, from variety and quality perspectives. You can enjoy Blue Seal ice-cream there. They also offer free coffee everyday until 5pm with paper cups to facilitate take away.
Next time, I will stay in Miyahira. "
