"The best thing about this place is its location, very close to the Nagasaka gondola lift and main ticket office. I also like the fact that I could rent my ski equipment right from the hotel, and stow the rentals onsite at a designated area. Every morning after eating breakfast at the lodge, I put on the gears and just needed to walk 5 minutes to get to the lift and hit the slope. Rooms are traditional tatami style, so just be aware after a few days of sending it, our lumbered western bodies may take a hit getting up and down from the mats. "The room was really spacious with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was included but dinner we ate out as the hotel is large and they can't accommodate everybody. This was not a problem as there were so many restaurants in town. You do need to time the shuttle bus well though. Overall, a brilliant place to visit and really worth the money."
