We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Room was clean and spacious.Breakfast buffet was ok, more Asian dishes than American dishes which we liked. Hotel was close to nice restaurants with good food, and in walking distance to Taipei Main Station for MRT.

The sweet studio has no windows at all, and it did not mentioned in the room description, it shpild have mentioned in the room description, so that customer can avoid. The curtains in the sweet studio room was very dusty, made my mom's allergy went bad. No hair conditioner, no late checkout (every hour they charged 500 twd, unlike other hotel would offer you one free hour). Overall, not a pleasant stay for my experience, will not recommend to my friends and family.

Service great but view and cleanliness below expec
Service is great but the view was rather far off from the images provided in the gallery vs what we actually see. Cleanliness in general is okay but the room was way too dusty. Every single corner we could see a pile of dust and I have sensitive nose :( Location wise, to be honest as we are more towards trying out local food, there was limited options nearby. Mainly were pubs, karaoke and 90% are Japanese cuisine. But don’t worry, it isn’t noisy!

Good check-in. Self-serve guest lounge second floor was spacious and excellent. Second floor 'gym' disappointing: cramped, no air conditioning, no water or towel station, no wipe-down supplies. Room decor and amenities very good. Housekeeping did not always accommodate room availability.

Better options elsewhere for same cost
Booked here as part of business travel trip to Taipei via recommendation of colleagues. Apparently had a top floor large room with 101 views. The good: wifi is decent. Cleaning staff is super efficient at doing their job. The bad: Hot water takes 10 minutes to get going. Air conditioning needs help. Desk staff is apparently more interested in their daily to do list, than customer questions and requests. In addition, they will call and question you when you're not checking out early enough to their satisfaction (20 minutes before checkout time while I was on an international work call). And then was peeved when I pointed out that they had explained when check out was at check in, not to mention also that it is clearly printed on the card envelope with the room key. There are similar and better options for the same cost, and easier convenience to the MRT (subway) locally..

5-10 yrs ago, the Tango hotels were my preferred place to stay in Taipei. However, they are getting a bit aged, so I have new favorites. My room had some minor issues w the electrical sockets and equipment due to wear and tear. I also don't like the room layout as the rooms have many dividers to separate the sleeping area from the living and bathroom areas. So it makes the rooms feel more conjested and smaller than they actually are. I prefer a single large room with lighter color decoration. The hotels are still nice and the price is fair.

Good location and value for price. Bed, pillow very comfy and soft sheets. However room is very dim as well as has a strong musky smell if you do not have the ac running. Shower switches between hot and cold when showering. Tap faucet no good, sprays water everywhere. Noticeable wear and tear with black mold.

Awesome hotel! Keep it up Tango!
It was way beyond our expectations! We stayed in Room 5009. The room was immaculate! Huge, clean, wonderful and comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was huge too with Japanese-style toilets and a jacuzzi! I’ll totally stay in Tango again for my next Taipei trip! The only downside was that this hotel was far from the MRT but it was ok because my wife and I went everywhere by bus. It was so convenient! Loved every minute we stayed there!

From a very satisfied guest of Tango ChangAn
Service was first grade. Employees was very well trained, very professional. Breakfast was wonderful, had a lot of selections, covered a wide range of traditional Taiwanese cuisine as well as Japanese style food. The room was great. We liked the washer-dryer combination appliance. Bathroom has a nice shower, an impressive jacuzzi tub, and a heated toilet that also wash the bot. Loved everything in the bathroom. The comforters kept us warm at the night. Safe in the closet is large enough to lock a small laptop away. Bottled water and refreshment are replenished daily. If need anything, one phone call to the concierge is all it takes to get the help we need.

We loved this hotel. Staff was very friendly, room was very clean and nice! Bed was super comfortable. Easy to get to from the airport. Walking distance to the main train station. No complaints, would definitely recommend and stay again!

I find room conditions were very good and the hotel location is convenient to access local shops and eateries which I rate highly. However, the only downside which I didn’t quite appreciate was the fact that I received a call from reception on my check out day just after 11:30pm reminding me of the checkout time was noon. I have travelled around the world over the past 30 years in many continents and staying at many hotels from tourist class to 5* international hotel chains that it was my very first time that I received a call “ reminding” me that I had to vacate the room by 12pm. Checking out at noon is a conventional norm in many hotels around the world which I understand and appreciate and will always play by that rule. If I had to ask for a late checkout for one reason or another I would always have the courtesy to ask. Anyway, if that call was made to me at 12:01 it was fair and square, but reminding me as such just little after 11:30am I found that was quite unfriendly and left a stain mark on quite a good staying experience after all.
