Be careful with the noise outside
Like others have commented- only book this place if you are easy to sleep despite the noise outside- the location is super convenient- the issue is the noise.

The hotel staff forced me to move from the Shihlin Metro Home to another hotel, Shihlin 13 Home, because of over-booking. They did not asked for my approval and simply told me that I was changed to another hotel. The staff also sold my room at Shihlin 13 Home to another customer and gave my room key passcode to him. Therefore, the other customer was able to open my door. Fortunately, I was in the room and told him to contact the staff. If I lost anything in this event, the staff will not take any responsibility. The staff also gave my the wrong door passcodes several times. This is the worst experience that I have in many years of staying in hotel.

The room and the bathroom are clean. I had some trouble trying to open the door but the staff walked me through the process. Someone was smoking somewhere around the unit at a point but the scent dissipated somewhat after I opened the window for half an hour. I heard neighbors laughing and talking from time to time though they weren't very loud

The checking in is a bit troublesome cos there is no one there to assist in check in, everything have to be done by Line. If you goes without network or Line, you will be trap there. So you want to stay in this cheap hotel, pls do prepared

Great location right by the shilin MRT station. 8min walk to the Shilin night market. It's is right by the MRT track...so it's pretty noisy until 1am. Clean enough... check-in is right at 3am. No staff at location. Mattress are very hard.

I booked a non-smoke room, we didn’t mind the room is small, but the room has an extreme smoke smell, we couldn’t stand it, we turned on the air purifier all night, till check out, the smell was still so strong. We were sore throat and headache all night.

I must say I didnt enjoy my stay at this hotel. Basically its not a hotel. It a self service room just for occupancy with basic support on room service. But, if nothing goes wrong, it is ok. But the toilet flash got loose on the days and nobody is reachable. No phone and no wifi. LMAO! What was more infuriating is that my room got changed to the smallest unit at ANOTHER property, 2 street away from where i stay. Imagine my two old 70s parents walking those distance carrying the luggage up the stairs and now. There is no luggage concerige too. So if u have spare time, get risk of the luggages got stolen! Oh and i left my swim suit in the room and that auntie dont bother returning it to me when she sees us return for our luggage. Whats more! The cleaning auntie needs to get tipped in order to set our blanklets straight and top up our items in the room. Whats more?! She doesnt clean any used cups. So maybe its not within her job cause this is basically a self service room that u pay for sleep ONLY. I think hotel 81 in Singapore has better service. Shame. I can only comfort myself that at least expedia refunded me some cash voucher. Upsetting stay.

The bed sheets and comforter were not regularly changed. The coffee mugs were not thoroughly cleaned. The staff was approachable and accomodating.

bare essentials
tiny room (that's all I needed) with bed and private bath--doesn't even have a desk; would have been nice if there was a small fridge for food storage; no laundry facilities; but really, it is just steps away from Shihlin metro station

There is no front desk nor check in place. None is available to help you there. There is no Hotel signs. You will not find this place if you have never been there. They do not keep your bags before check in nor after check out. Inside the closest Mrt station has limited numbers of coin lockers. You need to pay $10TWD. This hotel is close to Mrt station and food. Waling distance to a night market.

初めての台湾ひとり旅で使わせていただきました。 スタッフさんとはLINEでのやり取りでしたが日本語も通じてとても感じよく対応していただきました。 ひとつ、バスタオルしかないのでフェイスタオルもあればいいなと思ったのと、ホテル入口が分かりづらいのでちゃんと写真を載せて詳しく説明するべきだと思いました。また使いたいです。

なんと言っても駅から3分くらいなので便利です。駅前には飲食店も多いのでそちらも良かったです。 場所が分かり辛く、玄関は普通のドア1枚だけなので最初戸惑います笑。フロントなど一切無いのでチェックイン等はあらかじめLINEのやり取りがあり少し面倒ですが、英語であればインターフォンで対応はしてくれます。 施設はまあ普通です。私の部屋はバスタブ無しでバストイレの所に大きめの除湿器が置いてありましたにで少し邪魔だったです。 洗面所備え付けのドライヤーは動かず、別のドライヤーが置いてありましたが強風は使えなかったので少し不便でした。 大きいバスタオルは備え付けでありますが、フェイスタオル、ハンドタオルは置いてないので持参する必要があります。 値段を考えれば全体としては納得のレベルだと思います。 私はプライベートスペースが確保でき、基本寝るのと荷物置いておける場所があれば十分なので、また使うかと聞かれれば、同じ価格帯で明らかにここ以上の場所が見つからなければリピートします。

交通方便，沒有明顯酒店名稱，難找，房間普通，隔音差，睡覺的時候，時常聽到關門聲，睡覺像睡在馬路邊，車聲非常嘈，浴室花灑頭噴水，冲身時花灑頭水花向橫及向上噴淺，小冰箱門較甩掉，齊體感覺非常差，以後不會再入住。

ホテルの入口、部屋の入口、共に暗証番号で入るスタイルのホテルです。 事前に連絡してLINEで暗証番号を教えてもらえます。 黒扉の入口にある電話でもスタッフの方に繋がります。日本語大丈夫でした。 5泊しましたが、スタッフさんには一回も会うことはありませんでした。 部屋の設備などに関しては何の不満もありません。 タイミングが合えばまた泊まりたいと思います。

周邊沒有飯店看板 繞了幾圈 原來是樓上 而且大門手把附近的機器輸入密碼才能進去…房間大小剛剛好 但電波斷訊的關係不能看電視 而且房間隔音很差 聽到了隔壁的聲音無法睡眠

It is located at a few minutes walk from an MRT station. There are also other bus stations in front of the premises. Noise will be heard in the evening time. It is not near to the night market. Quite a long distance to walk to.
