Lovely hotel with professional well trained staff. Hotel is quite new and room size for twin bed is quite roomy. Definitely on recommendation list

a lovely hotel . had a couple of issues in that when i arrived the room that was given to me was being sprayed for insects. when i showed them my room card they left and told me it was house cleaning , however once i was inside the room i started to get a headache and feel sick and you could smell the insect spray . i spoke to reception and they gave a couple of welcome drinks . strangely the welcome drinks only included juice , beer or tea coffee etc, not the cocktails we had assumed . the swimming pool is lovely however they need to replace the tiles that are falling off to maintain it . overall this is a lovely property which is very convenient for taipei 101, shops, and various sites . i would recommend this hotel

Fabulous all around. Terrific staff and concierge service. Room and bathroom is clean and modern. They even had outlets for US plugs in the bathroom and bed area, along with the local sockets.

Lovely room, lovely facilities, lovely location
It was a beautiful room with a huge comfy bed, and nice (Japanese style) toilet and shower. The room had a lovely view out to the south looking across the mountains and it had a easy to use, substantial pool with great views on the roof. They also have a nice bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor areas that had good food and attentive service. I loved the mountain mural by the lift lobbies!

The staff!!! So thoughtful and helpful. I didn't write down the name of the woman who helped us but she was amazing. I think it was Chih Hsuan (something with 2 names). I had them call places to make dinner reservations, including a Michelin guide restaurant. They came through and updated me with a little note next to my door when I got back! Location - right next to the MRT. If you're traveling in Taipei USE the MRT. It's incredible. Coming from the US, I'm used to paying $10-15 to go anywhere. It's easy to use and so convenient when it's right there. The area around is also popping at night so you can go outside, grab some food nearby, etc. The service - I guess this goes back to the first item, but we had to change rooms in the middle of our stay and they were able to make that experience super smooth. It was also my birthday so they left me this cute little towel tower with a birthday hat. I didn't tell them but they noticed it on my passport Overall - a really great stay. If you're a foreigner, I recommend staying here because most if not all of the staff there spoke English and it's a really good location to shop, eat, and hang out!

Like about the location with department stores around Was disappointed by the fact that there were bed bugs so felt very itchy in the middle of the night. Had to ask for a change of beddings at 3am before I could sleep.

Functional hotel but poor service with unfriendly staff. Front desk and restaurant staff are very unwelcoming. Food is mediocre and not worth the price. Hotel location is excellent. Room is clean. Room size is average. But everything else is below average. Humble House was our go-to hotel every year we visited Taipei for the last 10 years. This was our first visit after Covid lockdown. The hotel service is drastically different from before the lockdown. Very disappointing and definitely not the same. Very unwelcoming. We checked in a few hours earlier than the 3pm checkin time and were asked to pay an extra day. After some discussion, the extra charge was reduced to half a day. In all our travels, including previous stays at this hotel, as long as a room is ready, we’re able to checkin with no extra charge. We tried to validate a parking ticket and we were told the hotel would not be able to since we booked our hotel through Orbitz. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and there was no service at all. There were very few service staff. Food, coffee and water were all self-service. Sadly, this will be our last stay at this hotel.

It is a nice up scale boutique hotel. Small lobby but comfortable environment. The only thing that I feel they should improve is that the reservation desk staffs can be more friendly. They are not smiling or greeting with guests.
