"Had a very pleasant experience. Staff were very attentive and helpful. No ask was too big or small and I felt very at home. The pastries at breakfast were magnificent, best croissants I’ve ever had! Only drawback is having to pay to access the pool which is housed within the spa. Should always be included in a property of that calibre but overall, an excellent hotel!"

I complained strongly when checking out, and they were obviously receptive to give me much better room the second night. Regardless, their site (and Expedia) should indicate clearly that they do not operate as a normal hotel. After work hours, there is nobody attending the reception desk and you are on your own to enter multiple gated doors, retrieve your room key from a cabinet, haul...

"It is a wonderful property in a great setting to ready access to everything on Gamla Stan and much on the other islands. The staff was very helpful with helping us find gluten free friendly restaurants, answering our questions from the most mundane (how to get to a certain place) to more interesting questions, like the meaning of the three crowns. We'd highly recommend the hotel to others. Also, it is a perfect spot for first time visitors to the city of Stockholm."
