Nice hotel perfect for a family Sylt holiday.

Nice hotel situated close to an amazing beach. Relaxing environment. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Perfect base for exploring the rest of the island.

The room decor is old and needs updating, the furniture was hard and uncomfortable. The swimming pool photos looked luxurious but reality more like public swimming pool, the indoor hot tub was lukewarm. At check out (10am) there was a long queue and only 1 employee on duty, we waited 25 mins only to hand the keys and bath cards over (had asked if we needed to queue and was told yes, but in fact not really necessary). The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We didn’t book breakfast because it was too expensive (€88 for our family per day).

Während des viertägigen Aufenthaltes haben wir 6 Silberfische gesichtet in unserem Flur und entfernen müssen. Zudem hatte unsere Bettwäsche Hundehaare auf den Decken und den Kissenbezügen, dies empfanden wir als äußerst unhygienisch. Das Personal war überwiegend freundlich, aber eine jüngere Dame am Enpfang konnte uns leider nicht weiterhelfen bei der Frage, welche Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe des Sylter Aquariums zu finden seien oder was wir dort machen könnten. Uns wurde nur ChatGPT von ihr empfohlen... Auch kurz vor unserem Check-Out, der bis 10 Uhr erfolgen muss, wurde gleich zweimal an unserer Tür geklopft von dem Reinigungspersonal, um beide Male zu fragen, wann wir denn auschecken wollten. Wir haben uns ein wenig gestresst gefühlt, zumal es erst kurz nach 9 Uhr war. Ansonsten hat uns das Essen mit Halbpension geschmeckt und der Poolbereich ist ebenfalls toll, vor allem für Kinder. Abgesehen von einem kleinen Ärgernis kurz vor Schließung. Es war 20:45 Uhr und alle 2 min kam das Personal herein, um uns daran zu erinnern, dass es kurz vor 21 Uhr war. Auch hier haben wir uns ein wenig gestresst gefühlt. Dass das Personal gerne in den Feierabend gehen möchte, können wir verstehen, dennoch fanden wir es unhöflich, dass die Kinder, die sich noch umgezogen haben, nicht nur von dem weiblichen, sondern auch von dem männlichen Mitarbeiter unter Druck gesetzt wurden. Wir waren immerhin in der Frauenumkleide!

Mærkelig og ubehagelig praksis når man tjekker ud

En af de mærkeligste oplevelser jeg har oplevet på et hotel nogensinde. 2 min før man skal tjekke ud står der personale ude foran værelset og kontrollerer. Ingen smil, ingen venlig kommunikation, blot en kold konstatering at klokken er 10.00 (som I hvorfor er du ikke skredet) man føler sig smidt ud Manden passede formentligt bare sit arbejde, men når et hotel har denne politik, så gør det med et smil og god tone som minimum.

Die Unterkunft entspricht nicht den ausgewiesenen 4,5 Sternen, die Häuser haben einen Charakter einer Kaserne, die Apartments sind mit billigsten Möbeln ausgestattet. der Frühstücksaal erinnert an einen Kantine.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war frisch und auch nach 8 Tagen nicht langweilig. Buffetabendessen fanden wir zu teuer. Das A la carte Restaurant hat leider nur von Freitag bis Sonntag geöffnet, war dann aber sehr gut und auf üblichem preislichen Niveau. Die Betten sind ok, eine Matratze war etwas zu weich. Das Kinderbett, dass aus der Couch gebaut wurde, war hervorragend. Insgesamt ist eine zwischenreinigung bei 8 Nächten zu wenig - jede weitere kostet 75 Euro… Alles in allem aber ein toller Urlaub - man darf nur kein TOP Zimmer erwarten. Die Kinderbetreuung war abwechslungsreich und toll und die Umgebung ist perfekt.
Strand ca 400 Meter weg. Strandhandtücher werden gestellt.

Jättefint och fräscht hotell. Passar perfekt för barnfamilj då det finns lekplats, pool och rummen är anpassade för barn. Vi valde att stanna en extranatt och personalen i receptionen fixade så vi fick bo i samma rum trots att det inte fanns att boka just den rumtypen. Vi kommer tillbaka!
