"We were upgraded to the family room, which was great, the only concern was going up and down the steep staircase having to access the kitchen and bathroom, and there is no TV in the bedroom. Something I did not see mentioned in the reviews I looked at was that the nearest shops are 20km away, in Ysterfontein."

"We arrived late at the property after a 6 hour drive, the owner refused to open the door, told us she had no booking, despite us having booked and paid through expedia. We were turned away with no where to stay at night with no phone data to find another place to stay. A terrible experience. The place appears very much to just be the owners house rather than a proper guest house. "

The paper work that was presented to me by the manager showed a credit card number on that was not mine! Luckily I have my banking app and hotels.com app on my phone, I showed him my credit card statement showing that the payment went through to hotels.com on 10th November and I showed him my booking on the hotels.com app showing that I had paid in full.
