"Great stay."

"Strong chemical smell upon entering, which we could smell all night. Hair in the bathroom, hair and dirt in the fridge, sagging mattress. Asked to go to a higher floor and if one was available and was told “no” by the man at the desk. Left and came back around 9:30 to find the rather large parking lot very empty and only a few cars in the front. I realized this is because the top two floors are not being used. "Our stay was great. It was a nice place to sleep and close to all the locations we wanted to explore. It was a cozy stay and the woman I was communicating with was very friendly. The motel room itself was a little old and not well lit. They did a nice job decorating but you can tell there are some fixes that need to be done. But hey, overall, I would recommend it to someone, it’s just a cozy affordable place to stay. "

"The room was clean, but smelled of stale smoke. They were smoke free rooms. There were burn marks on the bathroom sink and night stand and the table in the room. No one ever came to the room in a 3 night stay for New towels or toilet paper. The heat worked fine. The microwave was dirty and the shower curtain had mold on it. I wiped everything down with a clorox wipes. My door had no dead bolt on it. It was broken. On the last night my neighbors were arguing all night. I was scared but...

"The rooms are very cute and beachy feeling with nice decor. Super close to the beach and nice restaurants, eveninthe off-season. If you're a light sleeper, beware the train goes by several times over night. Would definitely stay here again!"

We initially walked into the building shown in the listing photos—a beautifully restored colonial—but there was no one there.
