"OK for one night"

"Such an historic beautiful old hotel in Solvorn, Norway for our last stay before leaving the country. We just so happened to arrive the evening of the biggest storm in the last 25 years and our room was right in front of the ferry/dock to see all the action. As we arrived later in the day we were too exhausted to dine there so they brought us nice sandwiches and champagne upon arrival too."

"We had a wonderful stay at this small guest home. We wished we had been able to stay longer. The hosts were kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Very nice room with a lovely view. "

"Well worth the price, spectacular surroundings offering fjord views and a sense of being a member of the traditional hotels. You can kayak, take a sauna, a dip if you are hardy enough. The breakfast was lovely, as was the dinner. And King Harald Fairhair was born in the neighborhood! "
