Nice, comfortable B&B inn. We spent three nights at Bidwell House. My wife enjoyed our breakfasts more than I did. Our host, Eva, was informative and helpful with suggestions about what to do in the area (Lake Almenor & Mt. Lassen). Mt. Lassen was a great NP to visit - and we went to three different parts of the park on each of our three days based in Chester.

Beautiful and clean room. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The breakfast were delicious 😋. Location was perfect, especially if you love the outdoors. Short walking distance to the meadow, river and the lake. The landscaping was immaculate and impressive. Lots of public indoor sitting areas in front of the fireplace, at the front porch and other places within or around the property. Definitely a place to return and highly recommend it. Small town charm.
