"The lobby is nice but the rooms are terrible. The carpet is very worn and frayed. The bathroom tile had almost no grout left. The toilet moved when you sat on it, not just the seat but the whole toilet. The bricks walking out to the pool are loose.
Not a great place at all. We only needed to sleep for a few hours for an early flight otherwise we would never have stayed there."

"I definitely expected more from a Universal Resort. Online it looks beautiful, but it is so run down and the pools are disgusting. The walls of the hallways are all banged up. The rooms have lots of wear and tear. They provide you with the thinnest blanket that ever exists and a bed cover that no one uses to sleep. Housekeeping only showed up a couple times. The food at the food court is gross and the pools have mold and slime covering the sides. The do not provide you with tubes for the lazy...

"this is my favorite hotel ever, have stayed here multiple times. however this time my room had several bugs in it, I think the person who stayed in it before didn’t close the balcony door properly. It was tough to get service at the bar, servers seemed to be helping other guests more. it said you could pay for late checkout but when I asked about it they said it was booked.
that being said the resort is beautiful and I always enjoy my time, was just slightly disappointed this time. "

"Very comfortable stay and the location is convenient. This resort is perfect for families. We booked the one bedroom suite. My kids loved the jacuzzi in the room and I appreciated the washer/dryer, plus separate toilet. The only con for me was that the waterpark is separate and there is no discount if you want to go later in the day. The only day we had available to explore the waterpark was on our check-in day, which only would’ve given us 2 hours before it closed (check in is at 4pm… the water...
