A nice clean place to stay. Good parking with a very well lit parking lot. Lots of kids in the pool area, and running the halls, so not quiet.

We only stopped for the one night. Everything was wonderful. Easy check in, comfy beds, and delicious breakfast in the morning. Staff were all very friendly too.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The Tanger Outlet Mall was literally 5 min drive, which was great. The room was clean with the exception of the bathroom wall which needed to be scraped and painted. Also there were no hooks in the bathroom. The breakfast food was ok.

Fire alarm, no safety protocol.
Nice hotel, very clean and recently updated. A problem in the kitchen caused the fire alarm to go off at 4:43 AM waking the entire hotel. We were not informed of the problem until we went downstair to ask. No one was evacuated. The safety protocol was nonexistent. The staff seemed unsure of how to work the kitchen or what to do next. We immediately left the hotel.

Hello, Thank you for staying with us and taking time to provide feedback. During your stay, the fire alarm did unfortunately go off due to steam in the kitchen area. For hotels, the safety protocol is not for staff to evacuate the building, that is what the fire alarm is for. Hotel staff are actually supposed to take the "in house guest list" and the cordless phone and wait outside for the fire department to come. It is not up to the hotel staff to evacuate the building after the alarm sounds, that would be the responsibility of the guests to evacuate when they hear it, or for the fire department upon their arrival. Now, in a case like this, when the fire panel tells them it is going off in the kitchen, and they know there is no fire, they are allowed to stay in the building while they wait for the fire department to come and officially "clear" the scene. Anytime the full fire alarms are activated, it is state law that the fire department does have to come and "clear" the scene. I do apologize that this was inconvenient to you, however, all safety protocols put in place by the state were followed as they should have been.
