"Pool is good, great breakfast, beautiful gardens. Rooms are small, shower was mouldy and leaked into room. "

"Room clean and comfy. Food was very good. Sitting by the pool was very relaxing. There was a problem with the pool and out of use but the staff were very helpful and cleaned the pool which enabled us to use."

"The room was clean, the bed comfy.The room was not expensive. The staff did not seem friendly and the service was grudging. This is apart from the manager who was very friendly. The food at the bar was average, the chips were cold and hard. It is not possible to sit out by the pool as we hoped as the metal lounge chairs were old and covered in dirt and leaves. The few cushions were dirty and damp."

The game drives were absolutely amazing, made even more special by our ranger, Rassie, who was knowledgeable, passionate, and a joy to spend time with. "Food isn't good, very high in fat, carbs and sugar. No healthy options asides from salad which it doesn't really count. They have a ton of staff but they aren't customer service focus more like out to lunch. Nobody greets you or even look at you, they avoid eye contact. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Hotel itself it's fine and basi amenities need improvement and easier access to use them. The safari drives are chaotic needs more planning and organization. "

"Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. "
