"Very disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, the person at the front desk was not aware of our reservation. We had to spend more than 15 minutes proving that we had indeed booked a room at this hotel. Once we finally accessed the room, several issues became apparent. There were no towels available, and when we asked for assistance, the staff was unable to help, forcing us to find towels ourselves. "Lovely lodge but the rooms are a bit tired and the housekeeping team could do with improving the amenities in the rooms as well as the turn down service which is currently messy and inconsistent. The main lodge staff, including servers, front desk, and chefs were all welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was always fresh and delicious. Changing high tea to a lunch would be a good move in my opinion. Highlight of the trip was the Guide Cameron who went out of his way to give everyone on his vehicle an excellent and memorable safari experience. His sense of humour, knowledge, care for his guests was above and beyond expectation. He also had an obvious passion for the location and lodge. Overall a great experience - including the Elephants drinking out the pool!"

"Everything was very good. the staff were attentive and catered for your every need. The hotel has a good selection of restaurants and of course there is the casino. There is also a nice pool with a bar and a food oulet. The only gripe I did have was that the hot water was seldem more than tepid. I reported this on occassions but to no avail. A short walk away is a shopping mall with more eateries and shopping."
