"My husband and I stayed here for a hockey game and it is a quick train ride to Blues or Cardinals games from SLU's campus. The building is beautiful and historic and the staff was friendly and helpful. It would be a fantastic place to stay if you were visiting the SLU campus and enjoying the theaters next door. The Inn is extremely clean. The rooms and the lounge were very charming. You park right out front for free. Wish we could have stayed longer. "

"Nice location. Plenty of trendy cocktail bars and dining in CWE. Clean room. Housekeeping refreshed every day, but didn’t replenish coffee, glasses or paper products. Water bottle filling station with ice maker in hallway was great. Walls super thin—heard everything from rooms nearby. "

"Great property with many dining and entertainment options in walking distance. Upbar has great drinks and city views. Great complimentary breakfast. Staff are courteous and attentive. Parking is expensive but the visitor lot around the corner on Laclede Av at the SLU campus is a great inexpensive option and only a five minute walk away. "

"Cleaning needs help in the rooms and bathrooms. Room 511 hopefully is the smallest of all the rooms. You couldn’t use the chair fully with the desk and had to take turns in areas it was so tight. The staff was wrong about times for the Terrance bar and restaurant causing us to wait for that and then miss the downstairs restaurant being open so we waited a few more hours to find a place to eat. Simple mistake but that’s their job. "

"Check-in time is at 3 and we arrived at 4:10. We were told someone paid for a late check-out and checked out at 4. The woman at the desk told me check-in is at 4 and the room wouldn’t be ready for 30 min. So, she lied about check-in time. Basically, they decided to make more money and screw us over. She keeps the establishment immaculate, and served a scrumptious homemade breakfast!
