Hotel di Sugar Sands

"Generally, a very nice hotel, with great oceanfront location, except there are touches that do not meet the standard, given the hotel rating and pricing. The most disappointing issue was the on-site restaurant service at Tula. We had a miserable lunch service where the food and drink order was over an hour wait. Then we had breakfast the next day, and it took almost 2 hours to be served, as they mishandled our orders and had to restart the orders. The food was just OK. Also, room service...

"The room was clean, the AC one the second floor worked great (I have been there before for a stay where the room felt very humid on the first floor). The breakfast service during my stay was excellent and the employee running the breakfast area was very attentive. There were a few food items missing from the breakfast area but then later on in my stay the items appeared — looks like it was a shipment issue. I would stay there again despite the small discrepancies. "

"The room was very clean and the staff was nice. The view from the suite 👌 and made the stay even better. The only downside was the parking. There were not enough parking spaces, so we had to park on the grass at times."

The inside is newly renovated with style and character and extremely clean with amenities including bottled water, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner in shower and brand new kitchen appliances, dishes. "Let me tell you this me and my wife and my family, including my mother we went to do a Mother‘s the weekends and let me tell you first of all the breakfast was horrible and then the room where we staying was so humid that the floor was wet. We tried to fix the air condition and nothing was working and we were just tired. We went to sleep in the morning the same the floor was wet the pool and around the pool. It was all very dirty. Even inside. The pool was dirty. The water in the pool was dirty....

"This was our first time at this hotel and definitely not the last. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the amenities were great, and my kids loved the pool. Beach access was excellent, and the breakfast had a very good variety of options. We really enjoyed our stay."
