As a tourist the property is very secluded and away from the centre of town. Great for business people as lots of big companies around. Wouldn’t recommend for a tourist.

The only negative was that our room was very warm. In the winter, they disable the AC and only send heat into the rooms. Our window was broken so we were unable to cool the room.

Lovely hotel with great bar and breakfast areas, with a very happy breakfast eggs! Unfortunately no restaurant in the building, however plenty of choice nearby and Stuttgart city centre only a handful of stops on the train (station opposite main entrance).

Das Hotel liegt in einem gewerblich geprägten Teil Stuttgarts, Restaurants sind daher rund 10 Gehminuten entfernt. Parken kann man gegen Gebühr in der Tiefgarage. Ankunft und Check-In verliefen unkompliziert, das gebuchte Doppelzimmer war dann allerdings leider eine Ernüchterung. Die 16 Quadratmeter, die das Doppelzimmer laut Beschreibung hat, waren wohl eher mit großzügigem Bandmaß gemessen und aufgerundet. Gefühlt wurde hier ein Einzelzimmer mit einem Doppelbett bestückt und als DZ verkauft. Mir ist bewusst, dass man für den Preis keine 5-Sterne-Erfahrung bekommt. Einige Dinge waren aber einfach nicht praktikabel: Es gab keine Möglichkeit, die zwei Koffer irgendwo abzustellen und aufzuklappen, ohne sich den Weg zu verbauen. Freier Platz war nämlich nur der Gang ums Bett. Und statt Nachttischen existieren in die Nischen gebaute Ablagefächer - leider wirkt das beengend und nicht besonders einladend. Der Frühstücksbereich ist hingegen hell und freundlich, das Frühstück vielfältig und schön angerichtet. Das Personal ist ebenfalls hilfsbereit und kann bei Fragen zu umliegenden Restaurants etc. Empfehlungen geben.

Nice hotel, poor staff.
Freshly renovated in appearance for the room, but a little small. Breakfast was good but underwhelming given the price. Main problem was the night clerk wanted to have a weird, actually bigoted, talk on how he didn’t like Germans...especially German women.

I love the modernness of the property. The only negative was no refrigerator, no safe, no tea kettle. The place was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great!

We arrived in and left from the train station in Stuttgart. It was not an expensive taxi ride to the hotel. The lobby and all areas had a very attractive design and were extremely clean. The staff answered a couple questions that we had and were very knowledgeable and helpful. We were comfortable and happy with our accommodations.

A bit away from center of town but still convenien
We drove and wanted a hotel with parking. This one fits the bill. Parking spaces at the hotel is limited but there are additional parking very close by. It's a short drive to the Mercedes Benz and Porsche museums. Downtown is easily accessible by the U. Limited restaurants near the hotel. Not an issue for us but it may be useful for others.

Nice hotel - short distance to downtown
This hotel does have the "U line" that picks and drops off right outside the door, on SieglestraBe, and is about a 15 min ride on to get to the Central station. We liked the room it was small but clean and the colors were pretty (gray & teal). The breakfast was about 10€ but definitely worth it. A decent selection of foods. Most of the staff was super helpful and friendly. There was one woman who gave my mom a bit of a hard time printing something out but the other staffs personalities made up for her behavior.

Nice Hotel with very accommodating staff. I absolutely love the Modern/Contemporary Decor and color scheme! Hotel was right across from U-Bahn so made it easy to get down to the Fruhlingsfest. Although the rooms were small it was very adequate for a one night stay. Beds were very comfortable with a next size shower, I would definitely stay again.

Very clean, very modern, and while not the one in the city center it is just a seven minute train ride away from the city center. A cab takes a bit longer and is more expensive. I do feel like it was slightly overpriced but in all honestly all the rooms I saw in that area were around the same for the night I stayed. Overall a good place to be.

Nice hotel
I was very impressed with this hotel. Nice staff and quick check in. Provided list of near by restaurants within walking distance. The light rail ( tram as I call it ) pickup was in front of the hotel so very east to use. Modern room, clean and bright. The over sized window opens up as a vent which was a nice touch.

Clean Rooms, Good Value
Rooms are average size for a budget European hotel. Rooms are clean with up to date décor. Note that even though the ad says "air conditioned" this refers to "seasonal air". The hotel will be in either cool mode or heat mode. On a hot day when the hotel has switched to heat mode the room could get a little warm. Rooms have large windows which can be opened or tilted in. The hotel is directly across from the DB train station at the Sieglestrabe stop - very convenient. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond during our stay. The staff is extremely nice and very helpful. Breakfast is not included and cost 9.5 Euro for a buffet. I would recommend this hotel based upon staff, room cleanliness, and access to rail service.

the hotel was contemporary and clean, however, the rooms were very small and very basic. We purchased the breakfast for 9.50 Euros each and were disappointed with the selection, buns and coldcuts/cheeses and jams. There were only a few regular breakfast tables and mostly low lounge chairs.

The perfect hotel wish there were more in Europe!
We came late to the hotel and were hungry. The gentleman at the desk was so nice, friendly and helpful. Kind to give us info on pizza delievery and would even order it for us if wanted. But because the bar was open 24 hours (yeah) and serves warm toasted sandwiches (Yummy) we chose to eat there and have a well deserved drink after hours of driving. The decor of the hotel was brilliant, choosing calming colours. Light fixtures and furniture were upmarket. The room I felt was so well designed. No cabinets with doors, everything open so no chance of forgetting your belongings. The bathroom was well equipped and the shower was a proper shower, (not one of those bathtub/shower that you have to crawl in and out of.) The wifi was so easy to connect to and allowed for 3 devices to be logged on to it. The beds were comfortable, nice pillows and the room extremely clean. Breakfast was at a reasonable cost, much cheaper than other places we stayed (half the price), and it was really good, lots to choose from. Everything I want in a hotel, great staff, updated, clean and comfortable. I can't say much about the area as we were in and out so fast, but it was close to the Porsche Museum and that's was our focus. However we did run into a large music fest not far from the hotel that looked like it would have been awesome to attend if we had have had the energy. But it was far enough away to not disturb us.

Good Choice
Like other Motel One hotels, this one is simple, modern, and price effective. This particular hotel is also steps from the main train station and central part of town which is very convenient. Some of the better bars and restaurants are more of a 10 minute walk, but still close enough. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the staff speaks great English and is very helpful.

The motel was a less than expected.
Compared to some other hotels in this region the room was disappointing. It was very small with only a walk space around the queen size bed. There was really no space to put suitcases except on the floor. This impeded our movement badly and we had to stumble over them. Hanging space for clothes was virtually non existent other than some coat hangers on bars around the room. Don't expect a kettle or coffee maker in this room as there is no room for them. The bathroom, yet modern was also small. The staff however, were exceptional and the 9.50euro buffet style continental breakfast was worth the price. But yet again we have had better breakfasts which were included in the comparable booking price. Whilst the motel itself is modern and the lobby, restaurant and bar areas are more than adequate, my wife and I wouldn't stay in this motel again nor would we recommend it to anyone.

Great, modern hotel and lovely staff!! Located about a 10 minute drive from the main train station so better if you have a car but there are also trams near the hotel so not 100% necessary. Overall, a really nice hotel experience.

Nice comfortable room for a quick getaway
The room was comfortable and modern and some air conditioning but it was necessary to take the Tram to get anywhere. And upon check-in the person at the front desk was not very willing to tell me what was part of the breakfast for almost 10 euros. I found that slightly rude.

Great hotel right opposite tram stop
The staff can't do enough for you, breakfast is great -wide choice, refilled throughout the breakfast period. They had an offer on Campari and Ginger cocktails - just had to sample them. Our first room smelled of smoke despite it being a non smoking hotel but they moved us immediately with no fuss. Will try out more of the Motel One chain on the basis of this experience. From the website, it seemed like to hotel was close to the Porsche Museum, which it is if you have a car but by public transport you have to go to the city centre and then out again so would have been better in the sister hotel.

Great stay here for the weekend. Very reasonably priced, good location (a 7-minute ride on the U-bahn from the main station), with a good inexpensive breakfast. Room was small and basic, but for the price was more than adequate.

Nice motel near the city
The hotel is nice and near the cuty center. I asked the bartender for ice to take up to the room and he was not very helpful. He gave me two small glasses full of ice. Other than that everything was fine.

Great place on the outskits of the city centre
Great place to stay if you don't want to stay near the city centre. It's only a short ride in via train. We had a car, which made this place a great base. Less than 10 minutes to the Porsche Musuem and the city centre by car. We would stay here again
