"The room was very spacious. The staff was incredibly kind. Thimphu is small enough you can walk everywhere. If you do a hike or anything they’ll make you a “to go” box. My ONLY complaint is you can hear noises outside, but if you are a heavy sleeper it will be fine. Wonderful hotel."

"We had a fantastic stay at Phuntsho Khangsar. It was a lovely spacious room with a beautiful location overlooking Thimpu City. We had the view of the famous Buddha statue straight from our balcony. The highlight of the place was the staff who were very warm and offered excellent service. Mr Tshering the Operations Manager was always ready to help. In fact the owner Mr Namgay was also great at conversation. Also the property is located slightly away from the main city centre yet getting cabs in...

"Services are not at par with the price. WiFi connection was always unstable and particularly the food was not to the standard of a 5 star hotel. "
