Comfortable despite parking/check-in issues

We were unable to drop our bags off or collect a parking ticket for the nearby car park until after the check-in time as there was no one was at the property. This meant that we had to pay for a few hours parking. Once we arrived, we were told that a parking ticket from the B&B would cost a further £5, unless we paid at the machine on the car park which would cost us another couple of pounds. Our understanding from our online booking was that this would be free. Despite these issues, the room was comfortable and well located.

Best B&B I've ever stayed in

Arden Park is our preferred place to stay when visiting Stratford. It's a gorgeous B&B that is obviously well looked after and the owners put a lot of effort into ensuring it's a place for visitors to stay. This was our third time here and we will definitely be staying here again when visiting Stratford again.

Parking a few yards down the street. Door answered promptly and a voucher provided at low cost to park. Shown to room which was neat, very clean and newly refurbished. Bathroom has chemical toilet and dire warnings about cost of misuse. Hand basin tiny and difficult to use as shelf above restricts movement. Beds comfortable and all in all good value for money

Good location. Felt like a home away from home. We stayed in room 3 (double room on second floor). Although close to a road with traffic, no noise was heard giving guests a good night's sleep.

Friendly, clean and welcoming in a very comfy room

Upon arriving at the guest house, we were welcomed by a man named Mark. He showed us to the lounge whilst he went to get our room key. He came back and gave us a map of Stratford-Upon-Avon and asked if we needed any further assistance with directions, he pinpointed all the places we were due to visit on the map and we had a brief chat. He then showed us to our room, explained how we can reach him if necessary and checked if we had towels and enough coffee and proceeded to get us some more. He checked the TV worked and wished us a good weekend. He was very welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse was very clean and beautiful with decorations and ornaments with a pleasant dining area, although we did not eat breakfast there so I can offer no comments on the food. Our room was also very clean and well looked after. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were rather thin but the room was quite warm despite the weather but we also had a large fan which kept us cool. The bathroom had a bit of an eggy smell to it and the shower didn't have much pressure but not really much of an issue to make a complaint and didn't ruin our weekend in the slightest. We had a small TV, kettle, coffee, tea, milk along with wifi. It was a very lovely place to stay in and only a 5 minute walk to town. My partner and I had a wonderful time and coming back to a decorative room with a comfortable bed only made the end of our day all that better and we look forward to booking again when we return.

Would stay again. Better than expected

Customers service here was great. So welcoming on arrival and pleasant on leaving too. Nice and clean. Quite even on the road side. Decorated nicely for the festive season.

お世話になりました。

1泊だけだったのですがとてもお世話になりました。18時までにチェックインが必要でしたが、乗るはずだった列車が運休になり違うルートで向かったため、ストラトフォード・アポン・エイボン駅に着くのが18時30分となったのですが、事前に連絡を入れると待っていてくれました。担当のマークさんは地図や割引券をくれて周辺ついて説明してくれました。チェックアウト後も荷物を預かって頂き、観光後に取りに行くと「トイレも使って良いよ」と気遣ってくれて（その後にまた2時間列車に乗らなければいけなかったので大変有り難かったです）本当に細かい所までフォローして頂いて嬉しかったです。お部屋もとっても可愛かったです（遅く着いたにも関わらずグレードアップして下さいました）ありがとうございました。

A Delightful Stay In Stratford upon Avon

From the moment Mark opened the door for my 2pm check-in I could see I had chosen the right hotel. I sat in the delightful reception room while he attended to a previous couple and then he gave me my key and showed me to my room. Everything was explained and demonstrated so that I felt quite comfortable. The room was charming and very clean and provided everything I needed for an overnight stay. When I returned late after the theatre (RSC) all the lights were on to guide me to my room. The room was comfortable and though quite small it was roomy and efficiently appointed. The TV worked perfectly (sometimes a failure in small hotels) as did the wifi. I had a very comfortable night and would recommend this hotel to anyone who is considering a visit to Stratford upon Avon.

Hotel pequeño pero pintoresco Bien ubicado

It is right next to the train station so that was convenient. The city itself is small so you can walk around it in minutes and get to the theater in 15 minutes. The property was clean and had all of the usual amenities.

Dueño impertinente, el encargado empezó muy seco y acabó siendo amable después de ver mi enfado. El dueño me ofreció el parking, 5 euros, le pedí un recibo y me dijo que tenían que ser 6 entonces. Ofrece servicios sin pagar impuestos. Habitación individual cómoda pero bastante pequeña, daba a la calle por lo que había un ruido excesivo hasta tarde. El wifi funcionó bien, hay Te y café en la habitación. Cama un poco blanda. El baño minúsculo pero limpio y completo. El check in tiene hora, si llegas antes pagas y si llegas después pagas! La ubicación es buena

Mark, the owner was genuine, generous and welcoming from the start. Beautiful room and great local knowledge. Parking offsite but Mark provides a discounted permit for duration of stay. Excellent continental breakfast and lovely coffee!!!

Less than 5 minute walk from train station and 15 minutes to Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Stunning top floor room with large window and room was all newly decorated. Very quiet and immaculately clean! Highly recommend.

Overnite stay

A quick overnite stay to catch an RSC performance - arrived late afternoon & left 6:30am, so it was a brief experience. But Mark was so welcoming & accommodating. My single room was spotless and well-equipped. Quick walk from intercity-bus, from RR stn, from theatre and all central attractions. For location & quiet, give it a triple-A. Thx!!
