Comfortable place but far from the city centre

The hostel is big, comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The 3 bed room is big, the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very well and very affordable. The location is far away from the city center. Very close to germany 😅

I like that the hostel is very close to the German border. If you walk for 10 minutes, you are in another country! The location is safe, but I'd be weary if walking at night; it's a 15-minute walk from the nearest train station, and some portions of the street are not well-lit. The staff are friendly, except for the man who tends to the food area in the morning. The closest grocery is a 15 minute walk close to the train station.

I left and checked out after four hours as this venue. The room smelled of smoke, the bed had bugs and bug parts on it, the room was in poor condition and falling apart, no bed privacy (literally an open bed and no divider, and the venue was in the middle of nowhere. I felt so unsafe and left after four hours. I have stayed at other hostels before for cheaper andf they were actually much better and safe. This one was the worst experince I have had and the justification for 83 euros a night was not even close to accurate. Do not stay here.

The hostel was excellent but my experience was less than fine. They paired me up with an elderly man who smoked in the room in the middle of the night while I was trying to sleep. He would talk in his sleep, snored loudly, and never showered, making the entire dorm stink. After that experience, I was convinced never to stay in a hostel that does not separate people based on age.

The hostel was a dump. Furniture and decor from the 90s, the room was very bare and smelled of cigarettes. Beds were not comfortable at all. Shower room tiles were discoloured green, which the recptionist explained wasn't mould but i wasn't convinced. Buffet breakfast was pretty unhealthy and not much. Bread bun and pain au chocolat was limited to one per person. Would definitely not recommend for families, eventhough it was relatively cheap.

Just okay to stay for 1 night.

I am a positive one and I really feel a bit sorry for leaving a negative review. The broken tiles on the floor in the room, the toilet flush was also broken that I have to fix every time my family use it. And also no towels... The light and the whole room is just less than average. Overall, I would rate it 2/5. I mean, I don't hold anything personal against it, there is still room for improvement and maybe at another time it will be better.

C'était la première fois que j'allais dans une auberge de jeunesse. J'ai apprécié le fait qu'ils ne forcent pas à remplir les chambres, et donc j'ai eu une chambre pour moi seule. Si besoin d'en changer, ils sont ouverts et vous proposent une autre chambre, voir si les gens sont d'accord et s'entendent. J'ai donc eu au bout du 2e jour deux colocataires. Côté propreté, je suis pas super satisfaite. Je suppose que pour le prix ça le fait... L'aspirateur n'est pas passé dans les cadres de lit qui sont poussiéreux, et le sol n'est pas lavé correctement. Néanmoins ma chambre était pas si mal. A part un veilleur de nuit pas très sympa, les autres étaient vraiment aux petits soins. Le petit déjeuner était ok mais ne vaut pas son prix. Globalement si j'ai besoin d'une autre solution de logement, je pense que je m'y ferai à nouveau

Très bien reçu pendant mon séjour très belle accueil de tout le personnels femme de chambre bar accueil et agent de securite maintenant les points les plus désastreux héberger qui fume dans les chambres je trouve ça inadmissible aucun respect pour les autres heberger dans la chambre alors qu'il as des personnes qui sortes dehors as moins cinq degré dehor je pense que certains ne connaissent pas le mots communauté en tout cas super content d'avoir passer ce petit séjour parvie vous je reviendrai avec grands plaisir Christophe Hirsch
