"Cute log cabins, great location "

"Cute little cottages located on the beach. There are 5 or 6 of the older ones and 4 of the newer builds that are on the beach. They have around 20 that are within 100 feet from the beach. They have an indoor heated pool. Located 10 minutes from the main shopping area. Located 10 minutes from the Ferry to Macinac Island. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were offered an upgrade when we got there. We stayed in an older cabin. The air conditioner worked well. It had 2 beds with a pull...

"Property had a great view of the Mackinac Bridge from our balcony. Room was clean and recently remodeled. Balcony was nice and had great views. Staff was courteous and friendly. Close to all the things in Mackinaw. Only disappointment was there was no loveseat or comfy chairs in the room to sit in. We did have a small dining table with 2 chairs, but would've been nice to have a relaxing place to sit besides on the bed. This wasn't a big deal though as we spent most of our time on the balcony....

"Spent one night at the Super 8 in St. Ignace and have to say it was the best Super 8 we have ever stayed at. We got a suite with a king bed on the third floor and it had a balcony that looked out on the Mackinac Bridge. Beautiful view!! It was clean and the lighting was good and the staff was super cordial, both checking in and checking out. A good experience overall!"

"Location was lovely. You are nestled in the woods away from the crowds. The grounds are very peaceful and well maintained. You are situated next to an upscale resort (not affiliated) with a gorgeous view from the restaurant. The other restaurant nearby, The Woods, is also high end dining experience. The condo itself was decent sized and fairly well equipped for basic cooking. I was only surprised that there was no salt/pepper or cooking oil provided in the unit. One thing to note is that...
